Doing What I Love

Postby LunaSyko » Sun Jun 05, 2011 12:37 am

Hey, how's it going guys?

So, I love to draw Anime, though I'm not really the best out there. I think I draw pretty good though. Anyways, I used to love drawing my alters until one day my mom came in and tore them from me and burned them (This was just after I tried to tell her I was multiple) and I haven't drawn since.

Well. I started up a DeviantArt account. So, I'm gonna redraw them and post them on DA, where mom won't be able to get rid of them. As of now I have a few Chibis of a few of us, but today I took four hours on a drawing of Kendra and well, I wanted to share with you guys!

That's the link. I'll try to draw an alter every day or so. Also, if you just love my drawing style, I can attempt to draw you or your alters, but I need a pretty good mental image of what they look like. Also, these take time to do. As I said, this picture took four hours.

Wooow Kimberley! Thats awesome!!! Can't wait to see the others! what age will you draw Max at? That would be tricky i'm thinking.

Great idea to start the DA account. There's not way your mum can get your pictures now! Can't wait to see more! keep sharing! and thanks for sharing!

I'm gonna draw him at age 15, seeing as how that's the age he normally is. Or, I might do a picture of all of his ages side by side, but that sounds time consuming, lol.

In the days where we were beaten on a daily basis, we vented by writing. I'm still finding notebooks full of stuff me and my alters wrote, even during my 6 year denial period; I just figured I wrote it and forgot about it. I have 11 notebooks (So far), all college ruled notebooks, 70 pages minimum, 110 pages max, filled "not-necessarily-page-to-page-but-pretty-damn-close". So, all in all, about a thousand pages of writing, minimum. Not like 996 or 997 pages, a thousand. I'm dead serious. Front and back with about 4 of em. And we safeguard these things with our lives. Only 4 or so other people have seen our personal journal stuff. 11 people have seen our ideabooks; theres about 5 total, oldest from about 2002 thats been torn to shreds by my mother, because I was being "Rude". 2 people have seen our "Gridlock", which is basically just blocking and set design, in detail, for movies we'd like to make based off things we wrote, etc. etc. 2 books are just straight plagerism, like research materials for school, quotes, ideologies, philosophies summarized by Wikipedia, etc. that I keep to myself and that my alters sometimes edit because I spelled something wrong or they have their own view on stuff, etc.

But the #1 thing I love is Filming $#%^. That is so incredible for me, because I have been plagued with blackouts and losing time for years with no explanation up until recently (Thanks again, forums), and secretly, and I guess subconsciously, I like it so much because I know what I was doing at that moment, because its on record. And thats really important for me. It kinda makes up for lost time with my alters doing stuff I wasn't aware was going on. And now I'm making it into a career, and things are looking good, so hopefully the thing I love will be my job.

So, yeah. Between those two things, were all covered. Its not their favorite things, but they're the only things we all collaborate on. And I think thats important.

Your drawings brought a smile on my face LunaSyko :) . Thanks for sharing. What are your favourite animes or characters? I don't know an awful lot of anime, but some of my favourites include Hayao Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli films, especially Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle and Whisper Of The Heart. I also like Alucard from Hellsing, and the early Pokémon.

I'm glad I could make you smile~ ^-^

I like lots of Anime, but my favorites would have to be Pokemon (I like all but the newer ones are getting stupid...),Ichigo Rukia Renji (Bleach), Naruto Sasuke Kiba (Naruto), SOS Brigade, and a bunch of others.
