New Gay Alter

OK listen: No alter (I prefer the term "others") will be willing to open up to anybody inside unless they feel safe to do that. If your others talk down to him or use name calling he won't want to come to any of you for help and he'll just go on with his business. That could mean you have more blackouts and time loss. So why not try to get everyone on the same page and have whoever is name calling calm it down because it won't help anything with this new guy.

Get him up to speed with how you do things around your neck of the woods and make sure he understands that you have boundaries. Just in case he wants to meet other guys and you're not cool with that.

Ok, I'm just not sure how to make him comfy and want to be open. Do I just do nothing and let him move at his own pace, or should I ask him something?

It's totally OK to ask him anything about himself that you want to know about. No pressure, take it easy and all that but if you're curious then be friendly and see if he will talk to you. Ask him things like how does he remember coming to you or what he remembers happening when he showed up. He has to have a job and a reason for being around and even if he doesn't know what those things are, it's good to talk about it and get him to trust you. Give it some time and sooner or later he may even be doing your hair! LOL! Good luck xx.

I like the hair thing. Maybe he'll buy me new clothes; Zack already buys music he likes, and C.Nic gets podcasts he likes. Maybe theres something here for him... good point.

So, he talked to me for a bit this morning. His name IS David, and he's 14 years old, making him the youngest. He is apparently excommuncated by the Church of Latter Day saints. That cleared up EVERYTHING.

My brother and my mother, my father, my cousins, my sister, EVERYBODY in my family hates the Mormons. I don't really know why, most of them are f*****g morons as it is, with irrational hatred of an entire religion kinda proving it. But, yeah, they railed against em for YEARS. So, now I know where he came from and why he's here. So, thanks.

Now I gotta ask him to do my hair... oh, yeah. He picked my clothes this morning. Well, just a sweatshirt, but still.

Signature is updated. We spent about 5 minutes going through colors. Black was ugly, purple was "Too gay", light blue was perfect, etc. Ran out of signature space a couple of times.
