how do you know if there's someone else hiding???

hi everyone,

Its occurred to me lately through lots of missing time periods that someone else might be lurking behind the scenes inside... While doing some visual imagery stuff at T last week i saw a tiny chair next to my little's chair at the table which they all congregate to talk to the T... My little said it was a tiny chair for her teddy, nothing out of the ordinary there so i left it alone and didn't bother telling the T that there was another chair at the table... Then when everyone went back to their 'rooms' inside, i saw another tiny door right down at the end of the hallway...(This is where the latest two insiders' rooms are) The new tiny door looks very much like one of those tiny doors from Alice in Wonderland. And with all the missing time and weird things that have been happening I'm pretty open to the idea that there must be someone else in there just preparing to come out and make themselves known when it suits them...

The last insider that's been revealed to me was only last month and that came about by him answering questions inside my head while i talked online with my SO. I was thinking "What the hell is going on here?" and asked my insiders if they were answering the questions but they all replied "what? no, its not me!" Then the new insider began sharing info about himself and all was revealed... I guess I'm waiting for this to happen with the newest one, i think i have a name, but I'm not 100% yet. And my ISH is telling me not to worry because "all will be revealed in due time..."-The same thing she told me several months ago right before my 5th alter became known... I also learnt about him through a dream with the ISH talking to him... The same thing occurred a few nights ago which is why I'm almost certain there's someone else is there just hiding..


So my question to you all is: How do you know when there's a new insider?? Do you see their doors or rooms or anything before you see them or know for sure they're there... Is this even possible or am i making all of this up?

You're not making things up. You can never be 100% sure until the new alter reveals itself to you.The signs are there but you'll have to wait and see. You can try to your ISH if she can share a bit more or just wait until the system is ready. Please don't think you're making things up. You'll be ok!!

It's good to hear that other people have the self-doubt too. Part of me can't help but wonder if I'm making things up, or if it's essentially auto-suggestion, from reading so much about it lately. Or maybe whether its some subconscious attempt to grasp onto DID as an excuse for my past and current mistakes and shortcomings. There's suddenly so much confusion. I used to have pride in my objectivity, but know I don't know if I can even trust my own thoughts to be true.

i know the feeling your going thru now in the last 4 months about 5 alters have come out mainly to help my little mai with her flashbacks and stuff but our "house" is like a mansion upstairs where are the bedrooms are its like a never ending hallway lined with doors with chains on them theres about 9 of them that are open and there our rooms also in our house everybody has a "room of interest" like mai has her play room vitya has a music room rozalina has a study etc so we know when a doors chains become unlocked and theres an empty room added onto the house its weird but i think its kinda cool
