Postby GrayWolf » Thu Sep 16, 2010 10:18 pm

Hello
I am Lex :) one of the many within Heidi I am confused on something Heidi got very upset because one of the others within her had deleted her journals she was writing one is a counseling exercise from along time ago that she still uses she was told that using a dbt diary can help her stay in control over her depression and to help her wiht her emotions from what I understand the counselor at that time didn’t believer Heidi about myself or the others that are within her mind  I what I want to know is well is it a normal reaction for the core personality too feel as though everything is caving in around them when they have their private things read and then deleted or it is just what Heidi does? When I tried to talk to her about it she got all mad an thought I had deleted both files which I did not I don't know how to delete things I only know how to save files.
Thank you for listening Lex
I live with PTSD, DID, OCD, Bi Polar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Sever Chronic Depression, Insomnia and Anorexia I have my good days and my bad days with everything and I love how my husband is very supportive, kind, helpful, understanding and above all else he is very loving

Hi, Lex :D

I would say definitely. I get very attached to my things, and especially if the something was used to document something. I would go into a tailspin. Her privacy, control, and something she put a lot of time and feelings into, were all taken away from her :( :x

I think most people (multiple or not) would feel violated and be very upset.

Hi, Lex.

Heidi has a right to be upset, since her personal things were looked through and deleted. These journal entries may have helped her memory, but even if they didn't, they were special to her. If you know who deleted them, try to explain how it made Heidi feel.
Writing notes to each other is a great form of communication, but reading other's private journals is just as rude for a system as it is for 2 singlets.

Any chance they're still in the recycle bin?

We have ran every program we can think of to get the files back we even checked the recyle bin with no luck. Heidi keeps telling all of us that we are to leave the files on the computer alone. She keeps asking all of us who deleted her files but no one will say who did so which just upsets her even more. Lex

Hey,
There are programs out there to get back files that've been deleted off your hard drive... even after they're gone from your recycling bin. The most reliable ones cost money (a program called getdataback comes to find), but there are a couple free ones you can try out.
This site here has a list of some free data recovery software:

good luck
:)
