*Claire*
The latest news is that we have a cat in our system, and she came out a few times today, when being with a friend. The good part is that my friend has MPD too and she understood what's happening. But I don't know how to keep the kitten inside. I don't think I can make a cage and lock her there. *Kate* It is cruel doing so.

*Claire*Maybe to give her a woll ball? I don't know. And now we kind of made a one day rule, which means each of us is out for a whole day. Maybe we'll make it 2 days, but let's start with only one. :D

*Kim* Yay :) Just find out. Thank you.

I have a cat in my system too although I'm suspicious it might really be a little girl,
but turned into a cat or something :)

She usually comes out only at night and she likes nuzzling and cuddling with my boyfriend,
I usually get her something safe to scratch and and let her stretch,
make sure you know she's safe, she might not be able to speak english so try
'sending' pictures or using body language to communicate :) <3

There's a good reason for your little kitty in there, maybe try to find out what she's adopted
as her job and why she feels the need to come out.

Sorry for many questions, we just curious. *Kate*

I think she is a little girl because I have an image in my mind of me as a little girl
in the middle of the night, hiding in the dark as a cat...
I think she 'became' a cat to make us feel less afraid at night time, because
cats can see in the dark and they have claws to protect them.

To send her pictures, try imagining the pictures you want to send her, with the
intention/feeling of the image being "thrown" towards her, I try imagining
the picture and feeling not in my head, but all the way over in hers. :)
It's a little difficult, but if you can get the feeling and image sent properly
she should know how you're feeling.

Alters usually come up with a role or a job that they use to protect the system,
mine came up with a clever way to make us less scared of the night and to help
protect us, maybe you can figure out why she became that way... :)
Don't rush anything though, all comes in due time.

And how do you treat her? I mean...not treat...I can't find the word... :( What does she eat? Because I don't think I can give her only milk. And what if she wants to sharpen her "claws", a wool ball is fine? Also, when she is out, none of us can make her go inside. I'm still trying to figure out why.

Our cat hasn't actually ever come out as far as I'm aware... I never thought of those things
-Ker

It (Meisha) has come out a few times at night, plays with whatever's on the bed. woolly stuff's cool. Feed it fish & milk? Dunno, never fed ours. Not sure how to get it in, can you find something to entice it? e.g. a string for it to run & follow internally & then whoever's coming out jump in the "driving seat"? that idea probably needs cooperation from someone else too tho.
