Kyle won't talk.

He has shut himself off from the rest of us (3 of us) and had said before he did this that he "would come back".

We Need Kyle To Function Properly.

I may be a year older than he is, but I cannot take over his life like this. He is 16, I'm about 17. I don't know what to do.

Morgan says he's gone mute before (she's been around since we were 12, apparently) and he'll be back in a few days, but I'm still scared.

Calm down. Sometimes they just leave for a little while. Can you cope for a few days. Do you know why he left?

I've 'vanished' before when I was too stressed to cope.
It was irresponsible of me but I didn't know what else to do.

He'll come back.
Is he taking on too much responsibility all at once, or all by himself?

Okay, I've relaxed a bit.

I don't know how long I can cope. I know Morgan has taken over for 2 days before, but I can't let her right now, she's suicidal and I won't let her ruin our body while there's only one of us old enough to keep her under control (child's reckless as hell too). It's going to take some getting-used-to with some of the more simple things (not crashing into stationary obstacles, for example)...

I'm not sure why he's gone. I know there have been some stressors going on, and I suspect something happened between him and his ex-boyfriend that we're unaware of by the way he shut himself off. But they've been fighting and having problems for about a month now... I don't know, could the pressure just have finally gotten to him?

I was speaking with his ex boyfriend (who is aware of our alters), with whom Kyle is very close with, and we think it may be a jealousy factor combined with the possibility he is suicidal.
Kyle is lurking mute at the moment, with a very light hold on co-consciousness. That being said, I'm willing to bet money that I'm going to be alone again by 9:30 with how he is acting, as well as the fact he is still COMPLETELY mute(it's 9:10 right now. I'm not sure why the clock on the forum is five minutes behind)

Hosts have us because they've dealt with a lot of crap in thier time. Sometimes they go away and sometimes they come back again. All we can do is pick up the shattered pieces that they've left beind and keep going on for them. We try to find out why they left and what we can do to make them want to come back. Sometimes this is an exercise in futility but you have to be strong and hang in there. She is alive and she will come back. James.

I'm sorry, but she? Kyle is RARELY a girls name, and he certainly does not identify as female. Sorry, gender is a touchy topic for us.
The problem is, the reason I suspect he's left is something he needs to be around to deal with. I can't do anything about his emotional problems if he's not around.

We lost our heart 11yrs ago and because she was one who always lost time while we were out, I wouldn't ask her to come back. It would be too much.

It's variable if he looses time or not, it depends who is around.
He shouldn't loose much if I'm around most of the time though. I don't seem to ever block others, and wouldn't know how if I wanted to. It's summer, thankfully, so we don't have to worry about school at least.

11 years? That's a long time (obvious statement is obvious). The fact you've managed to cope that long is amazing.

I have to appologise for my brother there Tyler. It's very obvious that Kyle is a guy. I don't think James meant to call your host a girl, I think he was more talking to himself at the end there. Our host (who is a girl) is also in hiding and there's not a thing we can do about it. Just like us you're going to have to tough it out until he wants to come back.

I see, that's understandable.
At least he seems to have a few friend who are aware of *us* and are okay with me saying incredibly stupid things. Thankfully. And there are internet forums.
