Husbands Point of View.... :)

Postby LF2010 » Sat Jul 10, 2010 9:44 am

Hey everyone, it's Scott. I am LF2010's husband, I have known for awhile that he has D.I.D we just didn't have a name for it. I don't mind the alters, honestly, they are fun to be around, it's like a party....with one body in the room besides your own :) sorry I'm giving one of the alters...well 3 of them $#%^. I am curious to know though, one of the youngers calls me "dad" does anyone have any suggestions on that, like how we can approach it? He knows I am LF2010's husband but still calls me dad and has asked me before if I am his dad, I told him in a way I am because I take care of him and make sure he is safe, but I do that with all the alters, I make sure no one ###$ with them. I give them free range of just about everything that the average person of their age group would do. I take them all swimming when they want to go and it's always fun because they will switch mid way to the deep in and I get attacked by little hands because they can't swim. And my husband is afraid of sharks in the water which doesn't help them any :) but it is always fun because I can rough house with the older ones and watch out for stupid ignorant people at the pool making sure they don't look at them funny, yet also keep the little ones entertained by acting like spider-man(a nickname I acquired) on the pool wall/edge by holding on and climbing the edge...like spider-man..obviously..anyway sorry i'm super A.D.D, but I entertain them as well as rough house with the boys...wait boys AND girl :) I just learned today that one of the alters is a girl so I gotta give her credit. anyway sorry to make this so long

Hi, Scott! :D

I've heard of little alters calling the spouse "dad", before. The spouse usually just lets them. Does it bother you?

It doesn't bother me at all. They recently went to Seattle with LF2010's parents and I miss my husband very much and I miss my boys(his alters). I am scared for them for their safety but I also they know they are strong enough to know right from wrong and how to contact me if something goes wrong.

That's quite a bit away :( You need some friends or activities to distract you, while they're gone.

Well our roommates are keeping me busy. I have been doing the P90x workout program. So it's keeping me busy and getting me into shape.

I can't wait until they are back.

Do you have alters or are you an alter of another person?

That's good. Something distracting, and good for you, at the same time :D

How many do you have? Do you have younger and older than yourself alters?
Sorry if I ask to many questions I'm still new to this whole thing

I've been told there are at least 13, but there might be 15, so I'm not completely sure. They range from 3 to 36. I'm 20 years old, so yeah, I have older and younger alters.

I don't mind questions
