Bit worried about things I overheard

David is a protector too and he has more experience/skills than I do. I think it will be a good thing for 2 protectors to be around the system. It will make things a lot easier on Cate and I know she'll be happy to have him back. As for the other alters, it's really not any of thier business what I do. James.

I agree that having two protectors is good, as long as he actually does protect. Last time he intentionally sent Cate over the edge. That's the opposite of protecting her.

I think it is kind of their business, since you need to be prepared, and it affects the whole system.

Is it at all possible that James is becoming tainted by the amount of time he spends with David?

In order to work more harmoniously you guys need to make decisions together.
Talk it out and plan it out, let each other know each other's concerns
without name calling or pushing each other around.
If you guys make decisions without each other it's not going to work out in the end
anyways, because you guys will be fighting each other's choices.
You can't push someone around without getting pushed back.

But I want you to know the last thing David said to me was along the lines of "I'm going to bide my time, and when they least expect it, completely take over again!" so please keep in mind, he could just be taking advantage of you, and using you for another escape so he can start another mess. He might not act out right away. You've been feeding him all the info he needs. He might act sweet as pie when no one is around, but soon as you guys are back to civilization where he can hurt people, he could drop the act before you can even blink and shred $#%^ up.

I'll accept that David did some really aweful $#%^ and he even used me but when he said and did those things he was affected by some sort of a madness. He's not a bad person. I whole heartedly believe if anyone knows him, it's me, and he's not like he was then. He's over it and he's ready to be with the rest of us again. Noctum should be a nice place where we live peacefully not a ######6 prison. James.
