Excited for this Friday cuz I'm playing my first acoustic show in over a year.

Hah, here in the netherlands we can buy light alcohol beverages like beer and bacardi breezer when we turn 16, and we can buy all the stuff when we turn 18 (and vote and stuff too).. But I'm happy for you that you'll finally be able to buy the stuff yourself And double birthday parties rock

Yeah, America is borderline RETARDED when it comes to drinking laws. At 18 I can vote, I can hold a gun for Uncle Sam, yet I can't have a drink in a bar, great concept.

Personally, I think they should raise the driving age to 21 and lower beer consumption to 18, but that's another conversation. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around your upcoming performance... Bates =/= acoustic.

Show got cancelled cuz the venue got sold or something dumb like that. That's okay cuz I'll be playing my own birthday show!
Just cuz it's acoustic, do NOT think I play some slow, sit-down crap like those hundred year old hippies that show up to the cafes! I'm as loud and fast as a full band! I play acoustic PUNK!
Though technically not traditional acoustic. I run a big semi-hollow electric guitar through a small tubeamp. So the term "folk-punk" is more accurate than acoustic. But at the same time, there's no distortion.
