Honestly, I hate the whole "amnesia requirement". With me, it was often hard to gauge how much I had "lost time" or not because my memory gaps would be filled in with fake information/memories. Which opens a whole damned can of worms about "Ok, if I know for sure that what I remember about that stretch of time is FALSE, then how can I trust ANY of my memories?"

So I've become an obsessive checker as far as memories go. I can generally tell if a memory is false because it sounds hollow when I knock on it in my head. Which doesn't mean I remember what the reality was, it just means that what I remember as having happened most likely did NOT happen.
