When Worlds Collide

Postby Mr. Bates » Fri Jun 13, 2008 8:34 pm

I had another nightmare about Smiley, like the old ones where I would fall into his world and get attacked. Only this was more intense, more real. And this was more clear where I was. I was walking through the kitchen of my own house, late at night, when I heard a brushing at the garage door. When I got closer, it slowly opened, and the familiar figure with moppy jet black hair, and an ear to ear smile walked slowly, turning to me. And then the lunge, I woke up. But instead of just being shocked, my jaw went crazy and I muttered (spelling as best as I can) "Eishall weistraun, eishall weistraun". Obviously German, I don't know why, but those are the words that came out of my mouth, if it was even me talking at the time. If you speak fluent German, please translate that, if not, don't worry, cuz the everso useless freetranslation.con "translation" made absolutely no sense.

"Eishalle weisse traum" translates to "Ice White Dream"

Yeah, that sounds right to me. Except I get "ice hall white dream" from the translator by typing in "eishalle" and I know weisse traum. I would look in my German dictionary but I have no clue what I did with it.

seanetal - I hope you're not from Germany because I would hate to question a native German!

That's what one of my friends said. Well, she said vision instead of dream, but either way, I have no clue what that even means. Or who actually said it, or even why. She asked for the phonetic spelling cuz she thinks it might actually be Yiddish, but who really knows. Or it really could just be "Ice white dream", and God only knows how that relates to me, Smiley, or the rest of my system.

I went up to the mirror and asked Smiley, and he refuses to tell me. He says I'm not ready to handle that yet. I wonder if it's a nickname for something from my past.

Edit: I think it has to do with the hospital when I was shot. Ice white dream, like barely being awake while staring at the ice white ceiling while laying on the cold operating table. I went back to ask Smiley, and he just widened his smile and put a finger over his lips. I pressured him a little more, telling him about the partial memory of being on the table (Read:A Real Nightmare ), and he told me there's a lot more to it than that, that there's a lot of sick $#%^ I don't know about and completely not ready for yet.... and then he shooed me away

That is pretty cool that you can talk to Smiley like that... if I even try talking to the locked up ones it turns to chaos in my head, and I have a difficult time for a few days...
I just let it rest for now, but i know I will have to confront it sometime...
