What are alters doing when the host is asleep?

Postby mrslspinks » Sat Mar 01, 2008 2:57 pm

My husband woke up complaining about the fact that he's unable to get to sleep, and when he does, well after 2a.m., he has these pointless dreams where it feels like he is awake...even though he's asleep. (Hope this makes sense) So, he wakes up extremely exhausted, as if he never went to sleep. So what is going on? What could the alters be doing, if my husband is asleep and they aren't up moving around either? Are they dreaming or having flashbacks?

Maybe they don't have much control when he's asleep, so they're stuck stairing at the ceiling all night.

My alters sleep when I sleep, so its all good for me.

Any number of things could be the cause. #1 - depending on what time he gets up in the morning - going to bed well after 2 am would make anyone exhausted the next day - especially if it is something "new".. Also, perhaps his insiders are up and moving around and he doesnt know it. This happens to me sometimes. I'll go to sleep - in my bed clothes and wake up dressed and sitting in the middle of a made bed.. . . but then again - maybe you would notice that - i dont know what your situation is - i am married, but i dont sleep in the same room as my husband. . . . as far as the dreams, maybe they arent pointless. And if he is dreaming at least he is sleeping! maybe check out http://www.dreammoods.com/dreamdictionary/ and see if that helps any. I know that sometimes my dreams (what few i have of them) are indicative of what may be coming up or a reflection of what is currently going on. Sometimes they just confuse me more. . . who knows. . ..
