I'm making a post about the part in constant pain. The host is too caught up in getting to know her trauma and therefore not getting to know her in a physical or personality way.
So what I know so far, now I know she's a part. Firstly she causes the brain to feel fried but also the body to be in pain all over. Everyone, including myself, thought the body went into a pain all over in reaction due to stress.
The second physical thing I just learnt is that it's her who wets herself. We did all think that occasionally we just randomly wet ourselves. We thought maybe distracted and forgot to go toilet. Or maybe sometimes there is some kind of body memory or reaction that causes us to wee ourselves. Just now I suddenly needed the toilet and I could of held it for the few feet to the toilet but she can't. So that's why. She is incontinent. It's like being with an incontinent friend who you have to clean up after except she peed on you. So anyway I got to the toilet for half the pee and cleaned up and put clothes in washing machine.
I don't know how old she is. I haven't got that far. When she was in the body in the group she would want to say something but can't. Which is probably best because she isn't great in what she wants to say all the time. A guy was talking about his radiotherapy and she thought "I'm in constant pain too. Maybe I'm having radio therapy" so I told her no you're not (in thought) and that we'd all know if we was having radio therapy, it's physically impossible for her to be having radio therapy but us not. She just "umm" So I was glad she didn't say that, that's crazy talk and we'd get locked up possibly.
Then when we talked about the meds we were offered a lady was on them so I was asking her questions but some of the questions were from her, I had to say them, so not everything she thinks is strange but she doesn't have the confidence or perhaps the ability (I'm not sure) to speak. I know Rose thought her tongue had been cut out for years so it literally could be anything from some kind of internal idea that she has no voice to speak out loud or that she's highly anxious.
I'm taking it very slowly in getting to know her. I'm not asking her stuff I'm just letting her be. She gets tearful if spoken to directly I have noticed so it's best to take it really slow and just noting these physical traits of her is at least a start.
No-one (and pain part) .. asking about a name and she relates to the body name, I think just let her have it even though we were trying to avoid parts being called the body name because it is very confusing. We had three or four parts called the body name, including me but like Beth I picked "No-one" as a kid. Beth picked Beth because it's our middle name and she loves Little Women and when I had to pick I said "if I can't be the body name I'll just be "No-one" then" and it stuck and I actually kinda like it lol. But let her be the body name, she's so distinctive in how she is the body nobody is going to confuse her and even Paul's sister goes by Lilly now so I don't think there are any parts left who use the body name anymore. But I can't decide that, others have to agree but that's my 2 pence.
