Do your alters do this

Do they blurt out things. That happened to me today. I was alone but a part said Mommy really loud. It was strange just because it's the first time it ever happened.

Yes. It's really annoying and often confusing.

Yes.....that happens to us at times.

Some of us do. Sometimes even directly to people (professors in high school). We know it's disorienting at first.

I highly doubt that it's the first time it happened. It's much more likely that it's the first time you noticed.

It happens lots.
A voice says mommy! and I feel anxiety.
It used to say daddy! and there was anxiety then too.
One time it happened at work, someone heard. I was so embarrassed. I spend a lot of time by myself so it doesn't happen out there.
