Personalities that Hide from you (The Host)

Postby Ponyta » Wed Oct 17, 2018 1:57 am

Anyone have personalities that hide from you?

Like I'm the host and I've been wanting to talk to Jack, but every time I look for him, or try to talk to him, he hides from me. Weirdo told me that he is scared of me. I just don't know why......I wish I would know why he feels that way....but yet I can't talk to Jack to ask him. Jack plays the Just Dance game I see......but still won't talk to me. He does however know how to talk because one time I saw him laughing and talking to the guys (when he saw me though....he left). :(

Also Brian is supposedly my 4th protector in the system (According to Weirdo).....but yet even he hides from me. Also when I try to talk to him.....he often doesn't respond.....but yet I just have the feeling that he hears me. If I do manage to find him, he is very secretive and doesn't seem to want to talk.....so I leave him alone.....but yet I feel bad. I would like to get to know him better. I also know he can talk as well....because he has no problem talking to the guys.

Any ideas on why they are hiding? They should know by now that I'm not going to hurt them (try to get rid of them)......unless of course they have worse trust issues than I do.......in that case......I understand. I just wish they would tell me what is wrong.....so we could hopefully work out any issues between us. I would love for them to be my friends.

This is directed to our current Host- the one who asked the question in the first place

yeah I couldn't help but notice this post- yeah I'm watching- but it's not obvious to you

If you must know I'm "hiding"- not really- but since you put it that way I'll say it- because I'm a failure. I messed up big time when Bandit and the others escaped. I messed up numerous times before. I'm a complete failure and not worthy to be called a protector. SO STAY AWAY FROM ME! I'll only mess things up- I always do. I'm pathetic like that. Oh and Jack has problems too- so yeah- that's that

The only reason I'm writing on here and not telling you to your face is because I know you'll try to make me feel better about myself. Yeah- NOT happening. I know what I am and that's that. You don't want a friend like that. SO BACK OFF AND STAY AWAY!

Well, Bandit is a friend to the host now so its not a failure, but sucess.. ;) It was the right time for you to "fail" for it to become a sucess.

Hey I'm another one of the protectors- name's Weirdo. Thank you TeddyBear the helper for trying to help Brian feel better. Sorry- he has been taking stuff very hard ever since the accident that allowed Bandit and a bunch of others to escape. He hasn't been the same because of this- he is very grouchy and easily angered (I feel our host should know this too). It's because he is beating himself up a lot mentally over this and his other failures. I know Brian saw your message and it actually made him smile a little- because he knows it turned out good in the end- but still he's dwelling on "What if". I tried to cheer him up too- but he still lingers there. He needs help- but not sure how to help him break this cycle. It is so true what you said- It was the perfect time for Bandit to escape (he was in the dungeon for way too long- I actually felt bad for him). Bandit's a lot more happy now that our host and a bunch of the guys (including myself) are friends with him. I just wish Brain would "snap out of it". He's a really nice guy- very intelligent and outgoing- when he's not dwelling on his past mistakes. Thanks again for trying to cheer him up.

But he isnt alone.. If it hadnt turned out so good this time, then i assume that you and the rest would work together with Brian as a team to fix it. He is a part of a team , and a team can do a lot more together than any single member can do alone.

That is so true. We did work together to figure out what happened exactly and it wasn't Brian's fault 100%. No matter- all of us (the protectors) forgave him for his mistake. Even our host forgave him. Even if it would've turned out differently- we still would forgive him and help him solve it. He just refuses to forgive himself.

He seems like a very nice guy who also takes his responsibilities very hard. He did his best, he cant do more than his best, he isnt any superman, noone is..
Thank him for trying his best :)
However, if the dungeon was a nice beautiful place where everyone could live a good life, there wouldnt have been any reason to escape either, and everyone there would have been much happier and easier to convert to friends inside the dungeon ;)

I have at least two that never talked to me. Since learning about them and being dissociative, there’s some of the ones I do know about that haven’t talked much, if at all, and possibly a few others out there I’m unaware of. I don’t know how to find them or entice them to come forward and talk with me- but it’s something I’d love to accomplish.
