Although, we've got 38 members of our system that A's aware of, and I get the feeling that A's still subconsciously searching through his mind to find more of us, so we'll probably find a lot more soon. We already have so many that it's kind of necessary for us to italicize and bold as well as use different colors to make our formats distinguishable.
I have I think 6-8 that I'm aware of and think are likely to exist. There are others that are secondary and minor (my terms) ones but I don't know how to consider or count them. These are ones like parents of specific primary ones (what I call minor- based on minimal activity or presence, ever), or other more active/present relatives of the primary ones (what I call secondary). In both cases, secondary and minor, they interacted ONLY through the primary ones, so IDK if they are fully developed individual parts, or fragments, or what…
Counting- Including the secondary ones, maybe as many as a dozen… And adding in even less active or seen "minor" ones… closer to 2 dozen, perhaps more… I don't really know at this point.
That's how I have been since I started to meet everyone like a month and a half to two months ago. I had a bit more than you did from the start because I'm pretty self-aware (and might just straight up have more than you do). But, like, maybe two days ago, I met Amber, and she started to get me and Jarid to stop categorizing the others like that. To Amber, it dehumanized them all, and pretty much all of us agreed. Before we met Amber, we had like 12-14 dominant personalities, 8-10 less dominant personalities, 5 personalities only met in the mind, and 3 personalities named but not met. Now, we have 35 personalities who have been out of the head/have fronted, 1 personality I've only met in the mind, and 2 personalities that have names but I haven't met, but we aren't done with getting everybody to pick a color. I'm also pretty sure there's more, but I haven't met them yet.
As well as removing the boundaries of levels of dominance, going through and bringing out each of them individually while remaining co-conscious led to Carlos, Cassandra, Dorothy, Derek, and Gluttony coming out of the head for the first time. I've had each of them write their name if applicable, the age they identify as if applicable, the gender they identify as if applicable, and a short sentence about themself all in the format they decide to type in on the forums. We've made it from myself to Jarid alphabetically, and at that point it became a little overwhelming and we've put it on pause.
