Recent Dreams (may be triggering)

Belle was heralded by dreams. For about 8 nights over a period of 2 weeks I dreamed I was being raped. Belle's first memories are of dating my ex husband. Her last memories are before my 3'rd daughter was born. During that time I know I was raped once by my ex husband. It started out as innocent enough, but we had just gotten a dog and he held me down as the... well, enough of that

The point here is that I know he raped me at least once, and I'm scared to death of what I'm going to find out.

He's in court on Thursday for charges of child porn, so hopefully that shot in the face will come sooner rather than later.

It's made for a very stressful week. Belle is scared sick because she is afraid of him and what will happen if he doesn't go to jail.

Court isn't happening again. This has been going on since January of 2006. That was when he was first caught. In March of that year he was arrested by the city. He got bailed out. The city had to drop the charges because it became a state offense. He was arrested again in May 2006 by the state. He spent a week in jail that time before he could get bailed out.

He's been out ever since and has had supervised visitation (whole week every other week) with our daughters. The supervisors were his mom and sister who don't believe he's guilty (he told me he was, in a moment of stupidity while asking for my forgiveness for what he's done to me over the previous 7 years).

His "supervisors" quit, said they'd had enough 3 weeks ago. The girls have been here since. This is a good thing, but everyone is strung out waiting on change to come. He has 24 felony counts against him. This isn't rocket science... just get on with the trial already. Every month it's the same thing, another continuance.

This time the prosecuting attorney is in the midst of a trial... and I understand that she can't be in two places at the same time. Still... it's been a year and a half!

the legal system is never fast. its slow and painful, sorry but unfortunately thats how our country works. you could wait up to 6 years before finally being punished for murdering a person these days.
