Instead of normal text messaging, we've been using the LINE messenger app to communicate with friends. Even though you can only have one account on the app, you can set up as many group chats as you like, so we've set up a new set of group chats for each alter, with the chat names listed as that alter's name + the person they're communicating with.
So our list of chats might look like:
Aaron+Molly
Aidan+Molly
Mallak+Emily
Aidan+Emily
Aaron+Nathan
...etc [where Aaron/Aidan/Mallak are some of us and Molly/Emily/Nathan are (made up for the example) names of our friends that we're messaging in that thread.]
This way if someone else pops out unexpectedly we can switch to our own chat threads, making it easier to keep track of who said what to whom. Also, the time stamps on messages make for a great reference for how long any one of us had been fronting. This has made keeping track of stuff a lot easier on both us and our friends.
So anyway, hello again, and we hope that this tip is helpful or at least interesting to someone!
