Question about sleeping and dreaming

Postby ZodiacDragon » Sat Jan 27, 2018 2:37 pm

So I agreed to go along with my friends to meet up with a very unstable family member as emotional support and physical backup if thungs go south (not gonna go into the specifics). Originally the plan wasn't to spwnd the night but we ended up doing so anyway. So we ended up staying at the motel the family member rented.
Out of all of us the two most suited for dealing with the sketchy area we're in is Saggita and Kuroneko. Kuroneko was last in charge before either giving me control to go to sleep or falling asleep due to the body being awake almost 24 hours. I was the one to wake up, but to my surprise Saggita and Kuroneko were already awake (this is the first time this has happened).
Is it possible for some alters to still be awake while the body and others sleep? Is it possible to dream while this happens?

For us it's possible. Most of the time, I'm the last one who go to sleep and the first one who wakes up.
But Alexis have a really poor sleep, and wakes up for almost nothing. Once, it was my laptop ending an upload and turning off which woke him up, and I remember having a dream of "seeing through my closed eyes". That was so weird, it woke me up too.

Makes sense. Saggita and Neko said they were up all night but I didn't even know if that was possible. Now I do. Thanks!

Night time is a bit of a mystery to me. Dreaming is even more so. I can remember once upon a time waking in the morning and if "I" had been dreaming it would be clearest when I woke, would be left with a very intense emotion which might last for hours....now things are not that tangible. When somebody wakes in the morning there will be no recollection of a dream and half way through the day somebody will remember the dream we had last night. Sean has purchased a notebook for dreams that we are all allowed to write in we keep it by the sleeping place. recently we had a dream that we shared. Don't know if that makes any sense x

yep. I can usually tell if someone's up inside because I wake up not feeling well rested or worse have these crazy vivid dreams and having the feeling if just gettinf out of thought deport just waking up. Its frustrating.
