right?! it is crazy! but it feels good not to be alone with it.
body work in therapy really helps.
we do mindful yoga. we know of a few other approaches of working with the body. some include massages or functional relaxation, qi gong, funny stuff that combines breath and movement that we forget the name of...
body work feels very uncomfortable sometimes. but it is really helpful. one of our offline dissociative friends found a dance therapist who does DID work and it is the best therapy she ever had.
things can get better, but it is work.
