I was wondering what is the name of the pill that will make all the alters go away?

Sorry, there are only pills that help with depression and anxiety caused by some of the alters, as well as symptoms of DID. But no there is no pill for making the alters go away otherwise all of us wouldn't be here.

Sad to hear you want your alters to just go away, but a pill won't help you. Your body chemistry is not out of whack; instead, your mind is trying very hard to protect you from something. Unfortunately, your mind doesn't consider the problems that such a defense can create. Having to potty train an inner-child (I've read that this is one challenge you're facing) may seem bad, but that child is somehow keeping you safe from something far worse.

If you just want a normal life, you need to work with the alters. A therapist can help you do that. Healing may result in all the alters coming together as one person, but you still need to learn to live with your internal others. That takes time and effort, but we've found it's worth it.

The ISSTD website isst-d.org has a PDF of treatment guidelines, including a discussion of medication.
