They all had their names from the beginning, the host didn't name them. It was sort of spontaneous. I occasionally experience co-consciousness but most of the time is silence.

It depends. Some alters had clear ideas of who they were when I met them, such as Va and G. Some needed help finding names, which they got from my friends who were around when they fronted for the first time (these alters were ones such as Vd and S, S is actually nameless but needs something to be referred to as).

Also, sometimes I hear chatter, but it's mostly when N is around. He does a lot of whispering that I can't understand. The rest of the time it's quiet if no one else is fronting with me.
