Rock N Roll Ain't Noise Pollution

I'm bored, and happily going off-topic... any of the guitarists here write a really good tab for the Green Day song "Welcome To Paradise" thats easy to read? Cuz all the ones on Ultimate-Guitar SUCK! Hey now, not everything on this forum has to be strictly DID-related, we're almost all multiple here, we established that, talking about regular everyday things won't kill anyone, especially if it involves the exchanging of guitar tabs :D .

:D Way to be, people. Nah, its cool. And Cathi, you old hag, c'mon, how could you not know who Green Day is? Big in the 90's, quieted down a little, and then they go and do "American Idiot" and now they play stadiums. Tabs = the bestest best best invention EVER. Instead of writing some crap little note and the letter above (death to note sheet), everything is done in numbers. 0 = open fret, and then obviously each number represents a fret, 6 lines = 6 strings, the same order as sheet music EBGDAE. So like a D chord looks like

E---2-----
B---3-----
G---2-----
D----------
A----------
E----------

Which makes things soooooooooooo much easier, cuz you just look at the numbers, and know, no memorizing names and positions and $#%^.

I may be able to find some good green day guitar tabs or a guitarist who could write them, hell i could probably write them if i go get the music. But the thing you have to remember about the tabs is its the chords that come straight from the song, so as long as they are using the original music its going to be the same chords. They may just play them differently pedaled or arpeggiated. Send me the tabs you have and I will see what I can do to get different ones.

I could just send you the song on Yahoo some time, when you're on. And then, based on the 3 books of string method, you can decipher the song. :D

Bates--I formulated a response, but somehow it didn't post! So, here I go again!

Never heard of Green Day in the 90s, 80s, or 00's! Didn't even know they were on "American Idiot!" Didn't know they're playing to stadiums now! Hard to believe, huh, that someone doesn't watch "American Idiot?" Are they Rock n Roll, Heavy Metal, New Age, CW, Jazz, Hip Hop, Rap, Retro?

If I like a song I'm listening too, I remember the lyrics, not the band playing it, and I remember only the lyrics. So I can't even tell you who plays some of my favorite songs by bands. I know those songs that are sung by some individuals like Elton John, Lionel Richie, Kenny Rogers, Phil Collins, but I even get them mixed up sometimes. And I can't tell the difference when ABBA is playing vs The Eagles vs The Beatles sometimes. Just don't have the ear for different bands, I guess?

Any ideas on where I can listen to some of their music without having to lay out $$? As you can tell I'm not in any shape right now to spend any $$!

Anyways, Hope you can enlighten an old fart!?!
