As someone who has suffered from psychotic and bi-polar symptoms all of his life, I've always enjoyed reading and writing stories with characters that do too. I'm diagnosed with a form of Schizophrenia called Schizoaffective Disorder. While it's hard to find a lot of stuff with the hallucinations and the delusions other than A Beautiful Mind, I still look for it. I'm going to share that love with you all, and I hope some of you kind find the same comfort that I've found.
Marc Spector, commonly referred to by his super hero name, Moon Knight, as a Marvel Comics character that shares a lot of traits with Batman. While Moon Knight isn't as popular as Batman (but who in comics is these days?), he does have an interesting trait. He suffers from Dissociate Identity Disorder. I own about seventy of his comics, and it's not always apparent that he does, but they do mention it, and he does go into episodes from time to time.
Post-2006 Moon Knight is cured of his DID, and now has Schizophrenia (which is horribly written and was cancelled after twelve issues). But Moon Knight has always been a cool character to me, because he suffers from a mental illness, just like me. Also, I just find him to be a cool super hero. He's not afraid to reveal his secret identity, such as the time when masked villains set an apartment on fire, and he on the ladder hanging down from his helicopter, and the mom and her young son cried out "You're the same, people just like you caused this fire!" He takes his mask off and says, "I'm just like you, I'm human, and I'm here to help you." Batman wouldn't do that. Probably because everyone in Gotham knows who Batman is, but still.
This is just something that I thought I'd share with you all. Moon Knight graphic novels are cheap on Amazon, eBay too, but I'd recommend Barnes and Noble.
