Recently I have gotten myself into a routine that is helping me (
I say helping, I don't know if it actually is helping sometimes) to keep my host in control. I've not faced my bad alter in about 2 years since I got diagnosed and she is screaming to come out but I'm terrified of going off of the rails because my routine has given me safety

I don't binge eat or drink often but the downside is that I'm terribly stressed, obsessing over every little detail. Can anyone relate to this?

Hi chanel_101,
I don't have DID and am a supporter of someone who does, but from what I have read on other posts, it is not a good idea to suppress alters. Maybe if you talk with her and give her some time out every once in awhile, she would agree to not be "bad". Make some rules to follow and consequences if they are broken.
Stress is not good for you emotionally and physically.

My true love has DID. Within her, I have a lover, a child, a protector, a best friend, and a confidant. I love them all.
