there is scientific stuff now about light pressure on the body helping with anxiety and all kinds of problems. the new blanket is 13 pounds heavy, but its doesnt feel that much cause its spread over the whole blanket.
you know, that bathroom project sounds fantastic. i am a little jealous. i like doing stuff with my hands and working hard and especially building. but nobody ever taught us. i have a friend who is a carpenter who might teach me a few things about working with wood. i would also like to learn tiling but i dont know anyone who would teach me. i am not much of a girl i guess. the bathroom project sounds like stuff from my dreams but i wouldnt know how to do it. good job!! i bet that was fun
not that far away from where i live there is a small mountain and it was used as a watchtower against enemies. there is an old stairway that goes directly up to the top. its old natural stone steps of different size and height and its pretty tricky, really steep and more than 1000 steps long. its what i sometimes do when i need a challenge outside.

The blanket sounds like it's working for you. Wonder if it would work for me?
You can learn how to do things. Youtube has videos on shower installation and tiling. Tiling's not hard. You just have to plan ahead. I had to work it out with Host to buy some tools. But he's good with it now because it's cheaper than hiring somebody. He even trusts me with electrical after I re-wired the kitchen last year.
Evan is jealous that you get to visit a real castle. Thanks for the description. He's having a good time with that.

i dont think a blanket like that works for everyone. its really depends on the system. i think some kids could be scared by the weight on the body and it does limit movement, i am not happy that it makes it harder to jump out of bed in case of an emergency.
but it seems helpful even if its not used for sleeping. Mike used it while he was taking notes for his book and he says its helps to focus and to concentrate for longer periods.
getting ready for a birthday party. a good friend who now lives next door. she invited some people i dont consider safe. like our former room mate. that woman is crazy. she drove us insane to the point of a suicide attempt when we lived together. so i will stay alert. good to know i can just leave any moment.
my time for the body is almost up. Asti will step in to take care of the rest. she made some really fancy cake and still has to do the finish. she a perfectionist with that stuff, but it always looks really good and she was asked to do wedding cakes.

Good talking to you Annett. Thanks for the tip about the blanket. I don't think it's for us though. The kids inside are upset because it sounds like being held down.
Have a good time at the party. Stay safe.

the party was ok. the crazy woman didnt even show up. but people were older... i sometimes feel like i am sitting between old grannys. its considered a party when everyone sits at the table, there is coffee and lots of cake and then people just talk. it was very boring.
someone told me they are disappointed they dont see "me", meaning L, that much lately. that is because we decided to set a healthy boundary and L isnt around much. it always makes me mad when people tell me "i am so disappointed that you set that healthy boundary". what should i answer? "thank you for telling me but i dont give a $#%^"?

I get that Annett. Liike how R's boyfriend wants to see her alone when the baby is in bed every freaking day and it's like umm hello, when do Mia and I get time then?? Who even cares what outsiders think, the don't get it anyway.
That party is just not even a party omg o.o but at least the crazy woman wasn't there to make it suck worse.

i think you and i are very different. i dont care if people recognize me. and i am not crazy about interaction with others. all i want is some respect for our boundaries.

trololol, can't remember what color I used when I wrote here last time
Maybe pinkish or some green that hurts your eyes!
I'm also kinda sick of my name... what's the point of sticking with the same name forever, bleh, so boring! (the "host" is btw distracting my thoughts all the time, 'cause she doesn't really like me writing here and barely allows it, 'cause we're not a true DID-case and blah blah
)
Anyway, what have you been up to? (also host wants to say "sorry for just popping into the thread out of nowhere" <-she's lame) I have been embarrasing the host the whole day and I'm just bursting with joy even thinking about it
I looove embarrasing her
Like in the handicraft group where she "has to go", I freaked out over a fallen loop (or whatever it's called, those thingies when you're knitting) and when the leader or whatever of that group (why is my english worse then the host's?
) came to help, I freaked out even more and covered my eyes
I also pranced around in the snow when we were on a walk, but that wasn't just to embarrass her, I honestly like the texture of snow under my feet!
Anywaays... have you guys ever listened to the artist Hannah Diamond? Because OMG I can't get over her, she's the best artist ever in the whole world! She gives me life!!! But seriously, her songs are just puuure happiness, I'm sure any fellow girly tweens out there would love her as well:

<3 <3 <3 <4 -Jade (for now. btw, I said I'm 14 earlier but I kinda feel like I'm maybe mentally younger but "physically" 14 even if it doesn't make sense as my body is almost 30
)
