Heya guys. :)

I love motorcycles the rest of us are scared of them. At this point I think we'd all be happy just to have a vehicle that moved.

There are definitely a lot of control issues with us too. Either we're all trying to be in charge or no one is. Neither works at all really.

I hope you get to go to ballet Amelia.

Viola has been really stressed out and tired lately. She's tried going to sleep on time, but nothing seems to work.

That really sucks. Sometimes being stressed keeps us awake, or being too tired will. That just makes no sense to me, but it's how it works for some reason. lol Hmmm, some things that were suggested for us is to make sure to get up and go to bed at the same time every day, even on weekends. Not that it is ever going to happen here. No computer/phone etc for like half an hour before bed because the light effects circadian rhythms. Relaxing tea or other warm drinks help a lot too, and doing something relaxing a little before bed time.

Or, if you need them like we do (well most of us), sleeping meds. I hope you all get some rest soon. Sleep problems make everything else even worse.

It's probably stress, since this year at college, she's been really stressed out. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll pass them onto Viola.

Does anyone else have a problem where their host has lost motivation and self confidence? Viola has and I think it's really affecting her schoolwork and her in general. Every time someone tries to help when she gets into a mental self loathing state, she doesn't want to listen. Any advice?

Hi Cynthia,

Yeah, the dreaded Host-stalls-out problem. It happens to us sometimes. Usually because Host can't figure something out but thinks he has to. Remember Host is just another part so there are things he can't handle. If he thinks he has to do it all by himself he gets stuck. Sometimes he gets stubborn and just stays stuck. Do you know what stalled Viola?

The stalled started at the beginning of the semester, when her new viola teacher was telling her what she needed to work on and apparently they were things that Viola had never had trouble with before in terms of her music. That seemed to really shake her up for some reason. She had gotten critiqued about her music on things she never had been critiqued on before, things she had been complimented on in the past so I think that's why it affected her so badly.
