Poems by my System

Postby Kyttin » Sat May 17, 2014 9:57 pm

We have decided to share some of our writings with you. Please be kind, that's all I ask.

Dance
The smooth motion
Or rounding the arms
The quick taps
Of Pointe shoes

A spark of passion
A long of spotlights
To dream of dancing
In front of a crowd

The whisper of satin
A murmur of silk
To tie two ribbons
In place for now

A lone barre
For a gentle hand
Pulling and pushing of muscles
To feel the warmth flood

A love of movement
A smile for this
Not willing to change
A moment of dance

~Allison

Untitled
Tears are falling down
Big teardrops falling down cheeks
Creating puddles

First Things
Love is always first
Then comes innocence and hope
All to save you, dear

~Abbi

***trigger warning: abuse, self harm, eating disorders, suicide***
Invisible
I look at you but you can't see me
I scream out, but no one can hear me
It makes me sad that I am alive
But no one can really see me

They want me to go
But they won't come over here
It makes my scars burn
Burn with the anticipation of sting

I starve to die
To weigh ninety-five
I hurt my body
For I hurt inside

I am invisible to you
To the ones I love
I wish you could see me
But I know you can't

~Rachael

Untitled
Crying out as he strikes
The sting or cracking
Of a slap or breaking bones
All coming from him

No morphine to ease the pain
No love or guidance for me now
Only his deep, deep hatred
Hating the fact the I am alive

Oh someone come save me now
Take me away from the pain
Or let me die tonight
Fading away to the nothingness

~Soule

Does it take a long time to make a poem?
Mercy

There are many others, but I don't think they want to post here.

It really depends who is writing it. I know Abbi takes a longer time to write one and Allison doesn't write very many anymore. Soule is the only one who can whip one up in a heartbeat.

Leader
Death is upon us
We need hope
Be our rallying leader
Take us into infinity

War is upon us
Run, that's all we can do
Run, run to safety
Be our rallying leader

We need a leader
One to rally us to arms
One to unify us
We need you to be such leader

Both
Naughty to nice
Being evil and good
All right at the same time
All with good intents

We can't look at things
Black and white
We must consider the grey
That is why we have rainbows

They represent good thinking
They represent the good
While the storm is the evil
All is needed

Abbi

***Trigger Warning: abuse***

Red
Tear tracks on the cheeks
A red mark forming
The print of a hand
His hand on her face

Stuck in a corner
Screaming for someone to save her
As he approached her
Her screams become blood curdling

Help she cries
As she lies in her room
Cradling her bruised and broken body
Wishing it would all go away

Soule

***End***
