Stepping down as a moderator

Postby lifelongthing » Thu Mar 13, 2014 9:51 pm

Hi everyone,

We wanted you all to know that we are stepping down as a moderator. We've had a lovely time moderating this section and we've been fortunate enough to meet so many kind, caring and compassionate people. We feel lucky to have at least tried to help even a little bit the people who have posted here and by trying to keep things running smoothly.

We won't be leaving right now as there are some loose ends we need to take care of in the forums where we moderate but we wanted to let you all know so that there is time if anyone needs help with anything or have anything they need us to do before leaving. We feel it is only fair to treat this as we would any other job and leave a notice and not just walk away. We are happy to help in any way we can until we are officially demodded. We will be deactivating our account here around the same time and will be unstickying this post at that point.

This place has been an absolutely wonderful tool in our healing and there are people we've met here who have become dear and close friends. We so appreciate the kindness and help that has been given to us by new and old members alike and the compassionate responses showed through-out. We are choosing to leave for personal reasons as we feel we are unable to give what is needed to the site anymore and we feel it may be better for us to leave.

Thank you for creating this kind, wonderful community where each person helps lift the others up. In my time as a moderator I haven't seen a single forum as understanding, forgiving and welcoming as this one. It is a true gift to have worked here and to have been a member.

Our very kindest regards and warmest hugs to those who want them.

Thanks for letting people know, lifelongthing. Everything you've posted has been instrumentally helpful, and I really hope things are okay on you all's end. I'm not much of a post-er, but I do read the forum quite often and wanted to let you know your impact has been felt. I hope you stick around, if that's whats good for all of you. You've been very kind, helpful, and insightful. Really hope things are okay. Best wishes, and be well.

Thank you very much abreality. We really appreciate the kind words. We really have tried our best to be helpful and to allow others a place to heal here, as well as ourselves, and I really do hope for the best for all the members here. Seeing people's journeys and how their systems and insights have evolved has been so helpful to us and it really is a remarkable little community that we've got here.

Thank you for commenting. It's really appreciated :)

lifelongthing, For me this is a bitter sweet news.

It's sad to feel someone I appreciate and whose posts have been of so much help, is leaving. However, as your personal decision, I understand it, and support it, and wish you the best in every endeavor you take from now on.

I wanna thank you for sharing your life with us, your process, your struggles, and your successes. Thank you for your answers, to me and to others, 'coz every bit of what I read, helped in my own path of healing.

It's kind of ... don't find the word, to feel this way about people we haven't know in person. My eyes water. I guess we are so much more, than flesh. And it is our souls and stories that connect in other levels

I'm glad you've walked a healing process and I'm sure it will continue to be so. I'm also sure you'll continue to touch others' lives the way you've touched mine, ours.

With love,

Sea

I am not actually sure if we've talked too much together but wanted to let you know that your input has been read on this end and it was found very helpful and kind and compassionate and sensitive in nature.

I want you to know that I wish you the best in your continued process of healing and recovery.

I don't know what is going on in your life but I hope that you find happiness and peace and prosperity in all that you do!!! :)

You are always welcome back if you should wish to return. We'll welcome you back! Keeping you in my thoughts.

Thanks for letting us know.
