hi riddle
I think sterotyping can get everyone emotional (no pun intended) but i what i read in your was that you was using the term to express a part of yourself that responds in a totally emotional manner out of your control?
Any how you wondered
'can emotional parts have different interests , preferences etc? and can this cause amnesia between different ep’s?
In my own little world of dissociation I know of at least three very different parts of me that are 'emotional' - each of them responds in very different way to the same situation- How ever all them dont get a chance because the one that is triggered the most lets out the biggest emotion!!!
So different interests and preferences for sure!!!! I love keeping fish, little river just loves sweets and our SO, I live sour sweets she likes little penny sweets! T-river just dosent know what to like and if its ok not to know about knowing! Amnesia for sure - always #(only now aware)
'and can emotional parts for example make decisions that you can’t remember, take part in conversations and do stuff at work you have no memory of?'
O yesssss - well like i said for me sure .
There are the EP's of myself that just take hold of the reigns and i dont know where they are taking me or where they have come from!
My favorite saying is that I 'feel like a yoyo but dont know the handler'
Any ho , i hope that in some way helps you.
Just out of interest. what made you ask the question? Sounds like parts of your self are cauing some internal strife?
respects
can you also be one of these emotional parts over a long period of time, and feel like another person?(where you can remember what you were like before, and alot you can’t remember, but people who knows you react to changes in you which you're not aware of)
not sure this last part was any good description, but i’m not sure how else to put it....
