The worse part is that some of us are Britney Spears fans & personally *trigger warning* it makes me wanna off myself.

I'm so sorry about the Brittany Spears. For me, it was Hanson that got annoying. Sometimes just a few frames of a song plays on loop for a few days... other than that, I enjoy my commercial free music. lol

I especially dislike the ones they make up. One had a dream about writing & singing her own original song. Five years later. I still hear that damned song. :x

It's called "Crystal Lake" & it sucks Crystal Balls.

Or how about hearing jingle bells in your head, sung in a flat kid's voice, all year? sigh.. I uhh, guess she likes Christmas? (funny when another part is listening to Dimmu Borgir's Vredesbyrd at the same time). I also get a lot of songs from kids' shows like the smurfs etc, and music written for kids. But the best thing about this are the complex classical creations I fall asleep to, dream about and wake up to. I found out not too long ago that I love classical music. We have creations that we've never heard of, variations of existing pieces, combinations of existing pieces, and most of it is crisp-clear, it's awesome.
It's just that when I get too stressed, the music gets so loud and overwhelming that it excludes normal thinking processes, which is not cool and can be a real bother if I need to think or focus on other things. They will also use music to keep me from hearing them.
I don't particularly enjoy hearing the complete album from the backstreet boys or the spice girls or worse either, but they do (and they totally know all the lyrics!). I can listen to most types of music except for hiphop/gangsterrap (or how is it called?) and pop music, but there's some in here that do really like this type of music, including Britney.. I feel guilty sometimes for not giving them enough opportunity to listen to their music. I found out that listening to the music that they like (or liked in their time) can bring back a lot of missing memories, or sometimes it just helps those parts be happy. Tuu dudu DU, tudu, tudu (Cant touch this).. ughlol..

I can relate! If I ignore my "inner child" too much, very annoying songs keep popping into my head while I'm trying to sleep: it's a small world after all; this is the song that never ends; disney songs; video game music. Oh, man!

This happens for me too, very much so.

lol yeah with you on that. I'm thankful I usually have Silver Bells when it comes to Christmas music since it's "on" at least once a day and usually for about 6 months a year; all day every day

Tuu dudu DU, tudu, tudu (Cant touch this).. ughlol..

Right now? "I like big butts and I cannot lie..."

other than that, I enjoy my commercial free music.

Lol, the reason I only started using youtube a couple months ago was that I already had all the songs I needed playing in my head.

I don't have the constant-music thing, though I know people who do, but one of us is Very Much a musician (communicates primarily through music and was doing so long before he was willing/able to talk) ... and gets very frustrated when this body's hands just can't produce or keep up with what he can hear. I managed to pick up synthesizers again a couple years ago and we've slowly been learning the motor and technical skills, but it's going to be a long time before I'm remotely able to keep up with him as a group.

meanwhile, he doesn't stop making the sounds and it's sometimes relentless.

teron; subdued, creator-muse
priythit, verubash; fairweather steering wheel

plural. also having some kind of undiagnosed trauma from abuse.

Sometimes music starts playing in my room for some reason and you can hear it all over our inner house until it gets really annoying and loud and my other tells me to change it to something else. For some reason, I barely even notice it unless my other mentions it, but I would still get annoyed by it whether I realize it's playing or not haha.

Like I said before somewhere, I don't think that having music in your head is an expression of having DID, it's more an expression of being an artistic, musically talented person. I think the DID part of it is that most people do not have a random amount of people in their head who are simultaneously interested in different music.
But hey, they can sing or listen to music all they want all day long, as long as they're being nice lol. I much prefer having music over constant arguments or even silence. Sometimes during the day, I'm like, wow where did all the sound go, has it been this quiet in the room all day?? Cause they idk I don't hear anything for a while? And I'm actually upset by the silence..
