Good day, my name is Denise, a recently discovered alter, If you don't mind me using that description for myself.
I have noticed that in our system memories are a bit... messed up, sometimes. Let's say passwords, sometimes I only manage to remember the password of our universal accounts, the password that is "stored" in some kind of shared part of the memories, where everyone can get information from. But my own password, for the love of god, I can't seem to find it anywhere in the memories. I know that I know it, but I just can't get it. same with my birthday, I forget mine but remember the one of the body.
Does anyone here maybe know something about those kind of things?
Thanks a lot, have a nice day
Denise

There are systems and tools for managing passwords. You might research some of them and find one you like. Even people without DID struggle with having to remember too many passwords.

Hi,
Another suggestion is to use password phrases and leave yourself clues to guess it in a phone book, organiser, or within the system if it has reminders.
(if what you're logging into allows the facility for v. long passwords)
An example of a nice secure passphrase that's memorable might be "Sh3 s3lls s3a sh3lls by the s3a shor3...". Much more unlikely to get hacked yet easier to remember than a random combo of alphanumerics.
In your reminder book you could have "Who s3lls what now??" or something.
I personally find these phrases or having cycles of passwords beginning in different letters helpful.
Cheers
