There was another thread on here a while ago that linked to a Dissociative screening test called, DES (just google it if you want to try it). It suggested a score over 30 should be evaluated for dissociative disorders.
I'm just curious if there's a link to high scores and time loss. I took the test three times over a couple of months and always score between 81 and 84. I lose time every day, sometimes I lose days at a time.
How about you?

I've been taking a med, and haven't lost nearly as much time lately. I used to lose time probably everyday (hard to keep track of what you're forgetting), and now it's rare that we even switch. My score is still about the same as it was before. 50-55.
I posted something in the Resources thread about the DES and SQD-20, if anyone's interested in getting a score based on human evaluation and not a computer algorithm.

Which medication helps with time and switching? I just started propranolol as a migraine preventative, it's a beta-blocker which reduces the effects of stress hormones. I'm hoping the antianxiety aspect of the medicine helps with migraines and switching. It takes 4-6 weeks to see a difference though and I'm only on day 3. I'll check out your post.

I've been taking Abilify. It fatigues me a little, but I'm in control most of the time, and that's a great trade-off. Medicines have different effects on every person, though. This is my subjective experience.
For communication, I still can talk to them, but it's hard. I get a headache when we try to switch, and had done once or twice. Good luck, guys. There's an antipsychotics and DID thread here, so we don't hijack this one.
