alter+alter=?

So, i dont know if i want to or ever will, some do i guess and some dont, want to integrate, then i have some questions. From what i read, if one alter agrees to integrate INTO, if that is what happens, another than that alter gets everything from the old one. Does this mean that when two combine, they form an enhanced version of whichever was chosen to be, or do they become an equal combination of both, depending on size of personality in psyche. Kind of like cell absorbing androids in dbz or is it like when goku and vegeta fusion ha? and if after all personalities have come together, is it a super enhanced and rounded out personality that was picked to be the outline of the whole, or is it the combination of all of them into an equal mix? Kind of the same as the first part, but i feel that one would think that if it is breaking down memory barriers that combines them, then they will mix either way and that after all alters are brought together, no matter what the order or who combines with who initially, you will eventually get the same person. 1+2=3 2+1=3, you know?

Well from when Sylph and Pain integrated, Sylph aged (closer to Pain's), grew calmer (overall), grew quicker to anger (but not as much as Pain was), and was more mature (due to age? or because of Pain?)

It seems kind of like a dilution of traits. 50% Sylph + 50% Pain= 100% Sylph/Pain (still called Sylph)
Sort of like genetics...

But mannerisms seem to be still Sylph and no Pain.

In our system, the one instance of integration we had went like this:

Before:

The Other - %100
Alex -
%100
Birch - %100


after the Other's passing:

Alex 100% + 50% The Other = Alex 100% (with me losing some of my traits, and gaining some of hers)
Birch 100% + 50% The Other = Birch 150% (with Birch retaining his full capacity plus gaining the Other's memory and some of her "abilities")

why it worked out that way, we have no idea.
