Triggered in a different way today...

One of the alters in our system is Anna, who's 12. Anna has two sides to herself. Her default side is the cheery, innocent Christian. The other side is her dark side, which she has described as demonic. The others say it's hard to trigger this side of her, but it can be done.

We went to see the Conjuring today (which is a great movie if you like that kind of movie), and when we left the theater for a moment in the middle of it, I felt like I was about to start acting like someone who was possessed. I thought of Anna, and checked up on her.

There was a darkness inside for a second, and then it cleared and she said in her usual cheery demeanor, "I'm fine!"

I think the movie may have triggered her dark side a little. It's still switching on and off lightly. She doesn't seem to be afraid of it, but the thought of her coming out with her demonic side out unnerves me.

I do think it's interesting, though, for an alter to have two sides to herself that are opposite with religion like that. I just wanted to post that on here...
