** Trigger Warning, Bad Times **
At first, my apologies. There have been some hard times, which made Rebel and Emma get in front a lot, which frustrated a lot of us since they messed up quite a lot. I am working with them to find another way to release their anger and frustrations, so the outer world (and the other alters) won't have to deal with that. But of course, saying sorry doesn't make things undone, it doesn't fix what has been broken.

We haven't been angels lately, yet we have gotten some threats and other PM's that in my opinion are not consistent with the things we would deserve for our behavior. It gave me the feeling that some members unleashed their frustrations on us, as a personal thing. The members I am talking about will know I am talking about them, and I do not read any of your replies on this topic. Your opinion doesn't really count anymore, in my eyes. Anyone can figure out something was very wrong those days, you could just ask what was wrong instead of telling me to drop dead. That hasn't been doing any good.
A lot of thanks to everyone who did ask if anything was wrong, you are great! simply for understanding when something is wrong, what is quite important around here. Too bad that two of the four people from whom I expected that one question, didn't ask it. Even worse, one of them send a quite harsh message. I won't call names, the ones I am talking about will know I am talking about them.

Back to the thing this topic is about, our progress. Just in short what I will be talking about in this first post in my topic. We have found a few new alters, the counts are at 14 males, 26 females, 2 unknown, 2 animals and 2 fragments. Maya is working on our Token Economy, making it a bit more efficient. A total of 8 groups have been made, the houses of the alters within one group are directly connected in case of an attack from Brian and Jason, who have been terrorizing the system quite a lot. I also will talk about some personal things the alters would like to make known.


New Alters
Seven new alters have been found since our last system mapping. One of these (Female, Emmalee, age 23) has already joined the society of our system, the other 6 have been seen, confirmed, but not yet met. We know it is one animal (Lizard), three adults (Male, Female and Unknown) and two littles (Male and Unknown). In our system, alters of age 14 and older are counted adults, alters from age 16 and older get permission to get their own home. So the ones aged 14 and 15 are counted adults, but will still live with their parents*.

So far Emmalee is doing fine withing our system, she is quite shy but she started opening up to Kimmy and Abby, who are both about the same age as Emmalee is. (26 and 23)
Amber has been searching for the lizard daily, she wants to have another pet. Whether her parents (Jeff and Katie) like the idea of having another pet besides the 11 snakes and B (falcon alter) is something I don’t know yet.

*parents are adults who take care of the littles, they are no real parents as in ‘had given birth to the little’


Token Economy
So far, our token economy has been doing fine. Slowly we’re improving it. Yet there has been a problem we couldn’t get around. Some alters like Sarah or Cella don’t get to do their tasks a lot, so they would earn less tokens. Also alters like Mike and Dante earn about 10.000-20.000 tokens a month (compared to the 500-1.000 made by some adults). Maya has calculated that an alter needs about 1000 tokens to be able to survive for a month. She only calculated food and drinks, which have been made something needed to survive, to resemble the outer world since some alters forgot to eat/drink sometimes. The size of our system makes most alters stay inside most of the time, there for we want the laws of nature on the inside to be near to most of the ones on the outside. Jeff has great control of everything in the inner world, this seemed to be a piece of cake to him (it took me an hour to simply plant a tree somewhere….), he has also given modifying abilities to only the council members, so all alters will have to use tokens. The council members are not allowed to give themselves or others free stuff, it will make them lose the ability for some time if they do, plus they have to pay double of what they actually created.

But back to Maya. She has calculated every adult needs at least 1000 Tokens a month, thereby setting the minimum the 16+ alters earn 1500. Alters from age 16 to 20 have the 1500 tokens as minimum. Alters from age 21 to 30 have 2000 as minimum, the minimum for everyone of age 31 and older is 2500. Littles and 14-15 year olds have different payments, since their parents pay their living. 1 to 5 get 50 a month, 6 to 10 get 100 a month and 11 to 15 get 500 a month.

Yet this is not all Maya has done, she also divided the jobs everyone has in three groups: Inner Jobs, Outer Jobs and Realm Jobs. Inner Jobs are the jobs alters have officially on the inside, like Dante being a manager to the whole system, Jennifer being ISH and Amber being the happy child to make everyone smile. These are the jobs affecting the other alters on the inside. Outer Jobs are the jobs like protector or emotional expressors. Jobs that alters have to do on the outside. Realm Jobs are jobs alters have taken themselves, and which they can quit any time, these are the more fun-jobs. Maya being owner of the store for foods and drinks, Amber making stuffed animals, Mike and Chris building new homes and add rooms or space to existing ones, those kind of things. These jobs are done to make some extra tokens.

Maya has neglected the Realm Jobs, and she calculated the income by looking at the Inner Jobs, Outer Jobs and minimum income. Lets take me as an example, I have a minimum of 1500 (19 years old), I am a substitute ISH as Inner Job and Emotional Expressor as Outer Job, besides that I am Therapist of the alters (Realm Job). Substitute ISH is listed as ‘50%’, Emotional Expressor as ‘15%’, a Total of 65%. This means 65% of the minimum gets added to the minimum. 65% of 1500 is 975, so my income is 1500+975 = 2475 Tokens a month. What I earn with my job as therapist is just extra, I can keep all of it.

This new system has brought the difference in income from nearly 20.000 to about 3000, and now everyone has a fixed income they can live fine with.

Also Maya created a new rule, you can be parent to a little if you have at least 1000 tokens more than needed. In other words, there should be a 1000 token income for each member in your family. I earn 2475, from which 1000 tokens are for my living. I can take care of one little, since I have 1475 left. Katie and Jeff make 5550 tokens each month together, needing 2000 for themselves, they can take care of 3 littles.


Groups
A few weeks ago we have had ‘try-outs’, for those who wanted to be Group-protector. The try-outs where more like role playing. As a Group-protector you have to be able to protect 5 other alters from one attacking alter for at least 5 minutes. Jeff played the part of attacker, since he was the only one certain to become a group-protector. Katie, Amber, Violet, Jasmine and Julia offered to play the other group members, the ones that had to be protected. Jeff had to simply touch one of them while going all out, not injure them, just touch. The group-protector had to make sure Jeff wouldn’t touch any of them, Jeff didn’t have to be beaten, just kept away from the group for at least 5 minutes. Jeff was only allowed to hit the participants, not scratch or bite since that would cause serious injuries (Jeff fought in his jaguar-form).

The alters wanting to be a group-protector were the all the other protectors (Chris, Emma and Dave), David, Dante, Destiny, Mike, Yin, Demi, Sammy, Rebel and Cella. Five of them didn’t pass the test. These were the results:

Dave: 10min, 56sec
David: 4min, 12sec
Dante: 7min, 02sec
Destiny: 5min, 56sec
Mike: 6min, 27sec
Yin: 1min, 34sec
Demi: 3min, 37sec

Rebel: 12 min, 59sec (this pissed Emma off since she is a protector and Rebel isn’t)
Cella: 0min, 23sec

Fun Facts
- We’ve got some new relationships. Katie+Jeff, Yin+Mike and Maya+Chris were already known, Sammy+Dave and Florette+David are new.
- All the littles (and Cella) have parents. Amber and B are with Katie and Jeff, Angel is with Maya and Chris, Marina is with Destiny, Boy is with Demi, Melanie is with Sammy and Dave, Cella is with Mike and Yin.
- Jamie is gone again, he left a few days ago. He will be back, god knows when.
- I (Claire) still have a burn-out, but I am feeling better slowly!
- Rebel calmed down, she had a lot of problems in the outer world. Things that made her dislike and even hate singlets kept happening, more fulnerable alters (Demi mostly) copied those feelings.
- Demi stopped writing her book about DID
- Sarah promised to pay back the 5000 tokens Mike and Yin gave her when she couldn’t pay her living, yet Mike and Yin keep telling her she doesn’t have to. She is such a cutie sometimes.
- Cella bought a second tree to build a ‘hard-to-reach’ place next to her treehouse, for times when she wants te be alone. She also wants a pet there to have some quiet company. She is now trying to pay Amber for letting the lizard live with her when it is found.
- Amber has opened a ‘stuffie store’, where she sells her home made stuffed animals. She makes small ones (2-3 inches) but also huge ones (up to 7 feet). She sells them for extra tokens.

I'm happy to read about all your progress though! You have a really complex inner world and that's great that you're able to use that to its full potential It sounds like you're making good headway in communication and finding alters as well

I must say, it doesn't suprise me if it is. For a long time, there just wasn't any life possible on the outside, making the inner world all we had. I guess it will be more complex over time if it's all you have, to be more "real". I guess the complexity also works in our favor, it improves communication between the alters. Communication is easy since everyone feels real, and the many kinds of Realm Jobs also improves it.

I guess it will be more complex over time if it's all you have, to be more "real". I guess the complexity also works in our favor, it improves communication between the alters. Communication is easy since everyone feels real, and the many kinds of Realm Jobs also improves it.

I think complexity can come from several things, like need for it, having larger systems can sometimes mean more complexity and so forth. We have a complex inner world with different physical laws in different parts and so forth. It's good it's helped you a lot

I m sorry too to read you ve been treated hard in the past.

I m glad tho to see you ve made progress in discovering others. We have Vicky who knows everyone and that s good to know that someone has an idea of who else is out there.

With us, some alters seem to have different physical laws. We are getting quite close to the outside physics in general. Yet some alters seem to have different laws, always to some kind of benefit when they do their tasks.

It indeed is! Since Emily told us we have around 70, we know when we most likely have found everyone.

Token Economy
We have made some progress with the Token Economy again, Maya made a good system that makes everyone earn more if they do more, but which doesn't leave anyone out. Everyone earns enough to make a living on the inside. She also included importance of the tasks and skills with the task a alter does.
Just a few examples for the ones who might need that to understand it a bit better:
Chris is our main protector on the outside, he gets 2000T each month (every alter between 21 and 30 years old gets 2000T base income), he is the main protector on the outside giving him 35% extra, total income of 2700T.
Jeff is the best protector we have (I will explain why later on in this post), he gets 1500T each month (19y.o.). His skills as a protector give him 60% extra tokens, 25% more than Chris. Combined with his job as Gate Keeper and Mentor, he gets 135% extra (highest percentage of our system).
Dante manages the whole system, the importance of his job gives him 80% extra over his 2500T income. His total percentage is 85% (80 from system management, 5 from being a mentor), giving him a 4625T income. (highest income of the system)
Violet gets 2000T. Her job as Emotional Expressor is not as important as the other jobs mentioned here, she gets 20% extra, a total of 2400T.

So far, this idea has been working fine. Beside the complaining from Angel, there were no problems. Angel wanted to be noted as the 13y.o. little she is most of the time, so she gets 500T without increases.

Protectors&Runners (**Some things in these parts might trigger**)
Weather is improving around here, so we get out of the house more and more. The protectors and runners want to work out a lot these days, so now they get 3 days a week to do what they want. Wednesday afternoons are for Jeff, friday afternoons are for Chris and the sundays are for Mike and Cella.

Jeff mostly spends his time practicing and combining different martial art styles and techniques. Even though he doesn’t plan on using any of them ever in our life. He is a calm type, he won’t ever think about how to hurt someone, he will rather think about how to control them. He is able to hurt someone though, but those moments are really rare (in the outer world). Mostly he only scares you without even getting close to you, he simply looks into your eyes like you’re a prey and he is the predator. Today he did that with two teen boys, who thought it would be fun to tease some emo/scene girls who were taking a break from shopping. Jeff (taking over from Mike at that time, since he had to be inside to do something) simply walked towards the guys like he was by far the apex predator around there, they ended up feeling pretty intimidated and left. Maybe a bit sadistic, but I always love it when he does that.

Chris usually practices with his wooden training weapons, like swords and spears. It is just his hobby I guess, I haven’t seen him chasing abusers with swords yet. Just like Jeff, he is a calm type, yet he doesn’t think as much as Jeff does. Chris is thinking more like: “Hit hard, hit fast, don’t look back”. Whenever something makes him come foreward, he wants to get rid of it as soon as possible and just move on. Guess that’s why he loves weapons likes swords, ending something only takes one cut, not a thousand hits. Where Jeff focusses on control, Chris focusses on strength.

Mike does a lot of speed training, when he is out the whole city becomes an obstacle course/playground. Somehow the body is faster when he has it, guess it is just a difference in the way of running, I don’t know for sure. I also don’t know any hows or whys about him, I nearly never get to talk to Mike. So here is just a random youtube video so you can see:

Cella is one of our social alters, always looking for fun social interactions. But besides that, she loves to climb. Trees, walls, if she can climb it she likes it. So when she has the body, she loves to go to places where she can climb. (it is called ‘freeclimbing’ if I remember right)

Guess having DID is a good way to have a lot of variation in exercises… But luckily they’ve got me to deal with the muscle pains. >.<

Outer World Plans
**TW – mentioning abuser/abuse**
In a few weeks we’ll be going on a vacation with our dad, who has one of the abusers. He wasn’t the main reason for DID developing, but quite some alters have been created by his influence. I guess you can imagine why I don’t feel happy about that vacation. But well, we need to get out for a while, get some rest, relax. Lets hope I’ll get some rest too, my burn out keeps coming back.

Next test for school is in a few days, next thursday I have to make the test for develment psychology. Maya will make that test, since she loves kids and the subject is mostly about kids. Some might call that cheating, but Maya and I share the same brain right? Not much cheating about that.

In a few months we’ll be going to a ‘manga museum’. Katie loves drawing manga, so she really wants to go there. In the meantime, we’ll have to save money to afford the many books she will buy… (manga drawings are Japanese cartoons)


Claire & Demi

**TRIGGER WARNING, PROCEED WITH CAUTION**

Two people from our country have been kidnapped in Yemen, and recently a video got on the internet (They have internet there! most hotels we went to didn't even allow us to use the internet!) of them telling they'll be killed in ten days if the demanded money doesn't get paid.

Now, normally I'd feel bad for those people, but having Suzie in our system helps getting rid of the bad fellings.... The first time she watched the video, she said: "Or they like it there, or they lie. well, both things would be them lying actually... so they lie."

Her arguments (written by Suzie):
- Woman uses waaaaay too many hand gestures, I mean, when you're terrified to death, why wave your hand around like you're some kind of clown? What is the first thing humans do when they are scared? Freeze! not wave their hands around like they're on the big screen at a football match....
- Man does not show ANY emotion in his face... If you have to be scared, act scared! Don’t look around like you are trying to find something to do, scared people don’t act bored… I guess…
- The man has no beard after being held captive for more than a month. Can be me, but why allow a kidnapped man to shave?

Not saying that they haven’t been kidnapped though, just saying that they ain’t treated as bad as they make everyone think… Maybe they even have a 5-star hotel room with tv, internet, wine… Just sayin’.

Anyway, in nearly all cases, our government does not pay any money to kidnappers, neighter do they try to find another agreement with the kidnappers. So whatever happened, let’s hope the kidnappers are in a good mood and don’t kill anyone.
