Thank you ManyHearts. Basically I went on a rant about Damned having a one night stand and screwing some guy yesterday. I have had those myself - so I'm not against the principle, but Damned is a little kid. So that's where it's f*cked up. And she sought it out. And I think that is wrong on so many levels - little kids shouldn't be seeking out strangers for sex. But she 100% disagrees that anything is wonky about that. so...that's the issue. How to address it when she lives in a culture where that is normal or even encouraged? Blargh.

i know why i have done it. do you? i wanted the pleasure. that will not be denied to me. so what if i have destroyed a little something? small cuts, small bites. nothing but a little foreplay. it would not be the first time. it is release between stone and mayhem. i would do it again.

We had the same problem with a child-part. She still sees no problems with it, but has stopped the behavior. For us it had to do with her finding other adult connections (e.g safe, friendly connection) and being able to use that connection instead of using sex to hurt herself/the body or to get enjoyment (or a combination of the two). i have lost my lover-soulmate-husband. in the past, i have been a sacrifice, a whore, a vessel, and even an object of revulsion to be used. recently i am a discard left at the grave. now i would take lovers. it gives me release. in any case i would not change it.
