Um... I-I thought... This might be a good idea.... For other people to read and take from....
Basically... You ask a question directed at someone (or a group of people) on the forum.... A-And.... They can answer it if they feel its ok to.... If not.... They should respond to the question with "PM", in which they can answer the question there, and the rest of us aren't kept in the dark.... And anyone can ask...
I-If there is already a spot like this on the forum... Um... I-Im sorry.... a-and... You can go ahead and delete this topic.....
I... I guess I should start....
Um.... This it to Nina11,
H-Have you ever had a violent episode?

A-And to... Um.... Anyone.
I don't really understand the trigger warning thing.
Could someone please explain that to me?

A trigger warning is a warning that something in the post might trigger a potentially negative reaction in someone. The more specific the better.
For example, if I wrote a post about religion then I might write *Trigger warning: Religion*
Don't get in the habit of writing *TW* as not everyone registers this as a trigger warning. I have a tendency to be overly safe than sorry with trigger warnings as I have some weird weird, weird triggers and would rather be warned than inadvertently freaked out myself, but just do what you can.
I think the big things that tends to need *Trigger Warnings* are the following:
specific abuse talk (whether sexual, physical or mental)
religion/demons/etc
denial
sex/prostitution
self-abuse/self-harm
There are probably some others that I'm not thinking of offhand, but hopefully that clears the topic up.
We're not invited.
