Ok... so how do we get this thing set up?
*out in backyard watching Shadow and Ice* It was your idea to do it and you don't even know how to set it up?
Shouldn't you be bar-tendering?
People can get their own drinks. I was honestly thinking about a very creative way to quit my job, but I decided to just sneak out here.
*reads instructor's manual* Shadow, you're going to have to get the higher pieces up.
Ok. You know I've never flown before, right?
omg, Shadow.... *shakes head ruefully*
Well, if I actually had wings on the outside and tried to fly, I'd probably end up dead. Hopefully I'll be more of a flier out here! *flies up about 10 feet* Is this good enough for the higher pieces...!
I think so. Ok, let's start to get this water slide built!
*to Eric* (respectfully, of course) I didn't mean to try to steal your spotlight. Figure you'd have wings or something of the sort. Any other powers?

I watch Lucy depart and reenter, "Ah! Thank you, dear. I did not mean for you to get the drinks," I take the glass gratefully and take a sip. I make a disappointed face for just a moment before shrugging it off, "Yes, thank you."
I glance over to the slide group, "It's good to socialize a bit. Sometimes a touch of alcohol helps, but yes. Perhaps the tender should cut her off," I wave in response to her comment.
I raise my eyebrow to Shadow, genuinely surprised at the respect shown. I then reflect that the fact that I am surprised is probably not a good thing. My train of thought moves to the humans, Gabrielle's friends, and how only one of them shows the proper etiquette when speaking to an ancient being... "Yes, I am a demon of fire though I have had plenty of time to study many other fields of magic. I have trained in most every profession at one time or another yet... Technology still finds ways to elude me."

I do not mind. *listens quietly as Vernadael talks to shadow, and laughs softly at the last comment*

*to Eric* I try to be nice to people, especially ancient demons. *laughs a little*. Though, of course, if you were anyone else, I'd still show you the same amount of respect. *shrugs* Not saying you shouldn't feel like you're special or anything. *flies up to water-slide rig* I never figure out how they get these things to work...*puts tarp on slide* It's really just our generation. Just comes and goes without showing anyone any amount of respect, it's ridiculous.
Rain cloud! *makes rain cloud over slide*
Well, that solves that. But now I need a towel. *frowns*

"Oh bother, I do apologize for my absence. There was... business that needed attending to." I stretch and take a sip of my grape-juice-in-a-wine glass, "Yes, this generation of mortals is... less than stellar, to put it lightly. I could go into parenting styles and all that, but by the time I'm done, another million years may have passed us by. While I have that sort of time, I do not believe you or the current day technologies do. Always advancing, these damned things," I tut and shake my head disapprovingly.
Turning my attention back to the slide I shrug, "While I try to avoid the things myself, I believe a simple water-slide may be sustained by setting a running hose at the top of the slide. A concentrated rain cloud in the area may work too. Do watch out for Icey though should you wish to keep it a water slide." As for the towel... I reach into the sleeve of my robe and pull out a suitable one and hold it out, "Pocket dimensions are such a useful thing, you know. I have a whole home in my right sleeve. Very cozy. Stone fireplace, master bedroom, and everything."

Ah, it is good to see you back. *laughs softly* I quite like the cloud idea, actually. I think it's a nice touch.

"A pleasure to see you as well, dear," I turn my attention back to you and give a smile of greeting, "Yes, presentation is everything, as they say."
