We wanted to let you know that we are here to support you.

Do anything to keep yourself safe and take a chance. It cannot be bad if it makes you feel safer and better. :)

From our other thread;
(And especially you Jackilyn (spelling?) who is considering foster care. I so wanted to answer your thread when I read it and I just want to say that I hope you do what you need to lead a healthy and happy life. You deserve such good things, you really do. I wish I would've left my home at your age and I regret not doing it until much later. If that is the road for you, walk it with courage and know you have support here. You (all) are in our thought. I hope you make whatever decision is best for yourselves.)

Do what is best for your healing. You are a beautiful person who deserves a safe & beautiful life.
We are here.

Think why it would be a good / bad idea to do it. If you really want something, you will always find a way to do it. Always keep in mind that you have to do what is best for yourself and what seems right to you.

It comes down to this-

Put you and your health and safety FIRST and ONLY care and worry about that.

Getting out is a chance for you to be safer, to have a better environment, to be healthier, all of that stuff. It is a chance to better your life and to help yourself. It is a chance that you should take. It's not an easy decision, but then, often what we need most in life isn't an easy path to take.

The environment you're in right now is abusive. It is unsafe. It is unhealthy. Don't let yourself downplay it. And if you can, get out of it.

Best of luck to you. Hang in there, stay strong, and know that you are supported here.

I don't know anything about the foster care system. I don't even live in the US.

But I can say this.
You say you wouldn't be able to go back.
When they don't want you to be healthy you shouldn't go back at all.
When they don't want you to seek help,
when they can't see they're the cause of this,
it shouldn't be good to go back at all.
In short, maybe the fact you wouldn't be able to go back is a reason to go away. Not a reason to stay.
Dx: PDD-NOS. Tested for dissociative disorders and PTSD but they say the symptoms are attributable to PDD-NOS.
