Age question. trigger warning talks about roles/drinking

Postby jbslappy » Sun Mar 24, 2013 1:57 pm

Hi this is Jen. Tyler is a protector and she says she is around 14/15. However Tyler had a memory a couple of weeks ago involving herself and horrible abuse around the age of 2. Is it possible for her to be more than one age? Also LJ who is 3 used OJ who is 8 to write to me to let me know of a part Tyler keeps "under the sink because it is safe there.". LJ said the little under the sink is 2 and it is "older Tyler won't let little Tyler out because it is not safe.". Tyler is not very cooperative at this time (still love you Tyler) and has been doing a lot of drinking and smoking which is not good for me but keeps me from remembering, so she says she is "just doing my job". We are negotiating a new job for her. At any rate, Tyler refuses to talk about the girl under the sink.
Is it possible for that to be Tyler as well? I am very confused and this is all very new to me.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Jen

Limited on time, but yes, an alter can be more than one age. I had a situation happen where I posed the same question to my T & he said yes. He's been healing trauma/DID nfor 20 years.
