How and why would a alter finally introduce/talk to a therapist?

All sorts of reasons. Here are a few.
They feel safe.
They feel frustrated.
They fall in love with the therapist.
They get fed up with being misrepresented by the host.
They get excited and forget themselves, and speak up not expecting to be noticed.
Their emotional pain is greater than their anxiety about what might happen if they reveal themselves.
Dx DID older woman married w kids.
0 Una, host + 3, 1, 5. 1 animal.
2 older man. 3 teen girl.
4 girl behind amnesia wall. 5 girl in love.
