He sounds similar to our "Hannibal".

Keep in mind that even if this alter is abusive or an abuser introject, they're still a part of you, and you are both parts of the same person. Remember that this part is doing the best they can to survive the best they know how, just as the rest of you have done/are doing. If all they know is how to abuse, then that's all they're going to do.

Do you know why this part does this? Are they an abuser introject, or are they simply an abusive alter? Are they angry at someone, do they just want to hurt everyone, are they trying to keep something like information hidden, are they trying to sabotage progress (well, they might not see it as progress), etc.- what are the reasons for why this alter is hurting others? How does this alter feel? Why does this alter behave the way they do? The more you can understand about him, the more easy it will be to try to work with him and know how to approach him and such. Could he perhaps direct his behaviour into safer outlets, such as punching pillows or a punching bag, smashing play-doh, writing down or drawing out what he'd like to do instead of actually doing it, "strangling" a pillow (surprisingly helpful), or other similar things?

Best of luck to you in dealing with this. Remember, this part is a part of you and this system. He has a purpose, just as all of you do. He has/had a role, just as all of you do/did. And he was hurt just as you were. He just copes with/expresses his hurt in much different ways. (Nothing can excuse his behaviour by any means, but explanations for behaviours can helps us to understand why he does what he does).
