We have a basement. I'm the keeper of the basement. Ours is not so scary though.. It’s where we keep our memories. it’s very dusty, but it's kinda beautiful though. it's reminiscent of like an old museum/library kind of. there’s a dark brown spiral stair and there’s bookshelves going around and there’s shelving units going into the middle of the floor. there are displays of certain things, like in a museum, like an item or a picture or painting etc. as well. it has a low light there from the displays and inside some of the shelves.

So it's not a bad place to be. It's quiet and I keep watch of it. So it doesn't have to be bad. Some systems have a basement that's not a good place and some have a basement that is a good place to be. I like it down there. It's not the most fun place in the world but I enjoy my job and it's something I do well, I think.

I know how to pray

I kno how to eat and munch

I kno how to shine and smile :D

I kno how to go out and about and get to places like a map

I know how to rest and manage health

I know how to watch for each new day and monitor it

Toddler knows how to walk and fall over, sometimes on to his face

Rosie knows how to express our feelings and helps us to write

Baby knows how to poop and cry

We know how to be violent and cause rage

I know how to cause shaking in the system

Lets put auto pilot up front, as a bit of our protection
Then M for maturity and age
Then me
Then toddler, cus I'm holding his hand
Then Rosie

then host, who's looking after
4yr old
And baby
Then 6 yr old as our back up

Ok, and lets repair our walls from when they crumbled from the shaking yesterday so they don't get smashed. And auto can be the one to do it cus he's male and has courage.

We all discovered a white door. All of us are now on the outside and agreed we'd only go in when we're all ready and in agreement, as we are more 'one' and will be stronger that way.

The doors so white it signifies peace and safety when we're behind it and its closed. Even though its an actual real door in our memory and leads to a real room in our past (which the cellar in our inner system represents) so it's good we're joining all the inner and outer images together.

Though the creature lives inside there, I think we've figured out we're all capable and strong enough if we're all together and supported each other :D

I think the white door even represents our counsellor too as she offers a bit of safety.
So now we've got to figure out what the white door means to us in the outside world, so we can progress through any discovery of the room and cellar at a pace that's good for us all.

That's great that you're able to feel safe in yourselves and try to unravel what it all means :) Best of luck with the discovery / discoveries! :)

**Trigger warning**
(Contains content of harm)

She's mine,
I even tried to kill her last night
on the light fixture with a bit of cord
I like cords
No one else can have her
She belongs to me, no one else
She's mine to put on a piece of cord
She's not yours
I'll do with her as I please and see fit.
She's mine to molest as I see fit
Her body's mine
No one else's
I can put the cord round her if I want too
And tie her up
And watch her dangling body
Sway back and forth if I please
Her body's for me and is busy with me right now
She's always be busy with me
She'll never be busy with you
She's mine
Mine to torture, mine to kill
Mine to disturb, mine to hurt

She's mine as well
To be cruel too

And mine three
I'm in charge of the corridors
It's my job to entice
And get them in the cellar
Once they're in there on their own
They won't get past me
I lead them in there
Then close then door

Shall we go down the stairs
To the cellar
Where we can be together
No one else will know we're down here
There's just a few stairs
Just come a little way
Then you'll see
I've got something to show you
Shall we go down together
It's only a short way
(Actually a long way down)
(Its a long way down
Such a long way down)

Hope this didn't really happen and that you're safe. If it did really happen, you might want to check into a hospital or some place safe for a bit.

As for everything else... This sounds like what a certain someone would say to me, and still dares to say sometimes.
(She's referring to an abusive alter in our system, "Hannibal", who seems to favor Kat).

Hi,
It did really happen, just not in the way 'it' describes. I think 'it' was the reason behind it though. Often think they're going to win and 'its' going to kill me, don't know what to do. I had the stuff and figured out the plan just didnt do anything as usual. Know I need to go somewhere safe, but find it so much harder when weaker like this, because I'm physically disabled as well, it takes a lot of effort and I get trapped in fear of what to say to people etc. plus I don't have that many safe places being lost to society with a physical illness and being housebound.
thanks for your help though :)
Sorry you've got a Hannibal like creature too. Perhaps the more I get to know about him now he's 'out', the more I can perhaps learn to manage him or live around him or face him whichever it is.

Then you need to make yourself as safe as possible, or call people that can help you to you instead of going to them, or make a new plan that works, or force yourself to commit to your safety plan. If you need to, if something like that happens again, please, call 911 or an emergency number or something. Your safety needs to be a first priority, no matter how difficult it may be for you. I believe such a situation would speak for itself, or at least give the impression of you being suicidal, if you don't wish to explain the DID to them.

Remove, hide, or lock away any harmful objects. Sharp objects, pills, belts, etc. Do not allow yourself near any electrical cords or items if you can help it.

Do you have anyone you can call that can check on you, or maybe even stay with you for a day or two?

Do you know the warning signs for him being near, or coming "out"? If so, keep crisis hotline numbers close by, and keep an outline of your safety plan with you, so that you can take steps as soon as you start to notice the warning signs.

No need to be sorry. I don't care that "Hannibal's" around. I can take whatever he can dish out, and more. There's a reason I'm not under than f*#ker's thumb anymore- I became strong enough to resist him, I learned how to resist him, and I became strong enough to at least free myself from his manipulation. I also became strong enough to fight him from getting "out"; I don't care if he does sh*t to me inside, just as long as he doesn't do it to the body, that's all I care about.

Maybe there's a way for you to keep Creature's abuse to "inside only" instead of actually doing it to the body.

-KAT

It sounds like "Creature" is an abusive alter, if not an introject of an abuser. Would you be able to have a protector alter help you to keep him under control, or at least keep him from coming "out" and harming the body? Would you be able to create things "inside" to help you keep him under control, or to even help you "defeat" him, or at least resist/face him? (Not only creating things to help you, but also giving yourself/others magical abilities to help them be able to keep him under control, if you are able to. Everyone's inner worlds work differently). Though is it only a temporary solution, as no part should kept imprisoned, but is there any way for you to keep him somewhere, such as a locked room, until you are more stable with him and it is safer?

Please keep yourself safe, and follow your safety plans if needed.
