nausea and zoloft

Postby Marie2010 » Wed Oct 05, 2011 1:01 am

For those of you who have taken or are taking zoloft, have you had nausea/loss of appetite as a symptom? If so, how long did it last? I know everyone's different. I've been on zoloft just over a week and have lost 5 lbs due to nausea. Does anyone know ow long does it generally take for the nausea to go away? Whats your experience?

Thanks,

i took zoloft for a while. i was nauseous for a while but not to an extreme. i did have loss of appetite and i had to take it at night because it made me so tired. but if u keep losing weight i would change medications. losing too much weight is dangerous.

The first time I was on ot it worked great. Second time I was on ot it made everything worse. I was throwing up, constant nausea, extreme depression, and zero motivation. I changed off it

Zoloft is one of many medicines that people use to treat depression. I’ve been on Zoloft 50mg for last six months. I am a more relaxed and easy-going person because of Zoloft.

I was on Zoloft when I was in middle school and had the same problem. Eventually I just started refusing to take it altogether. The only medication I was ever on that was worse than Zoloft was Abilify which gave me three bloody noses in one day...
