Hello, Any Input Greatly Appreciated

Postby Brumble » Mon Dec 07, 2009 6:21 pm

Well I know I'm not diagnosed with depersonalization disorder that's pretty obvius and i've avoided bringing this up and other thing's about my self like I'm positive I deal with some form of ocd and I really dont wallow in that fact but the reason I'm posting a thread in this forum is i've alway's been in this mode problebly 90/95% of the time were it's like i'm in my head watching my self do act's and just totaly dissconnected it's very depressing and scary, i've read that depersonalization (& or) dissociation can go along with either panic disorder or schizoaffective disorder may be both not too sure. I'm just wanting any input about what i'm dealing with & if you can relate or anything about the disorder's you might point out to me, thank you in advance and I will try to check this thread frequently to reply any quetion's/comment's.

I know I said "I would check frequiently" so i'm sorry about the late reply, havent told my docter because I don't have one Jasmin and yeah it is scary it's like wakeing up and things are so un-real, one time I woke up and it was so bad I started thinking "i'm not even real why don't I just kill myself" it was so strange and the other day my mom woke me up and it was like the most serius question in a real life video game and I was in a delima, i'm not expressing this the best I could it's kinda rushed on the basic's of what happen's to me Jasmin but thank you for replying.

Why don't you have a doctor? Could you tell your regular doctor, then? This isn't going to last for ever, you know. I'm sure you will find a way to feel better. You can come here and let things off your chest any time and I will listen.

I'm not to sure the why's and how's of not haveing a docter but I think it has something to do with insurence, the only thing's we would ever see a docter for is severe problems and i'm secretive about my personal issues with my parents & brother's/sister of course so that's not going to happen. This is by no mean's an urgent thread & yes your right jasmin it dose go away eventualy i'm just curious what other's think because online info just ain't all that great with no opinion's/relation.

How about a school (if you still are in school, lol) counsellor or something? It sucks that you don't have access to a doctor. How are you feeling now?

Jason, you could tell your family that you feel sick and ask them if you can go see a doctor. Then you can tell this doctor about it and maybe you'll find a way to see a psych doctor, with the regular doctor's help. You shouldn't have to put up with all this and you shouldn't have to deal with it on your own.
When I used to feel detached from the world I used to stay up all night and I'd get nightmares and really creepy feelings too. I'd either feel aggressive or scared :?

Well, telling people about my problems has helped me, so good idea talking here. I like to work out a few times a week and spend time cuddling with my cat and that seems to help, lol. But talking to someone and being understood is best for me :D
