can you help me?

hi all,

my girlfriend has something i cannot talk about with anybody but her, mayb you guys/girls can help me with what this is.

when she is awake she is herself lets call her girl 1, but when she falls asleep the other version of her (younger) will awake lets call her girl 2.

girl 2 is able to move/talk/reason perfectly with me and knows girl 1 is asleep and dreaming. Also girl 2 knows i'm the boyfriend of girl 1 and she loves me because girl 1 loves me although she acts younger as girl 1. girl 1 does know the excistance of girl 2 but is not able to talk with girl 2. but girl 2 can talk through the dreaming to girl 1. She is protecting girl 1 from any danger .... kind of stand by modus ?

does anybody know what this is ? or the cause ?

What you've said about her problem sounds like fairly straightforward DID, though it may not be that.
