New DSM-5 criteria

Postby Allan24 » Wed Apr 10, 2013 4:33 pm

Hello

I found this article about a new DSM-5 from American Psychiatric Association:
http://regainreality.com/articles/a_revised_understanding_of_depersonalization_and_derealization.html

I find many disorders have overlapping symptoms and that there should be a more general approach to the treatment of dp/dr in most cases.
What is your opinion on this?

The more and more I read these updates, it's gotten to the point where to be human is a disorder. It seems like no matter what it always comes back to the basic three: stress, anxiety and depression. Or maybe I'm just a narrow-minded pessimist.
