new here... and completely lost

having some issues with someone i'm in a relationship with their lying. not sure whether it's considered compuslive or not but what i read so far shows the signs... my gf is a very complex person, the lies are just the tip of the iceberg. i jsut want to talk to someone who knows more about the subject and throw some things out there so i can see some ways of how to deal with this...

If you have caught her in a lie, I understand your concern. If she has admitted to lying to you, that would be the first step. There may be things in her past that left her with a feeling of low self worth or esteem.

I myself have a trust issue, I have to know the truth, I will seek until I find it, and I feel very hurt if someone lies to me.

Does your gf have a psych or take meds that you know of?
Compulsive Lying is often used to keep the attention ON that person OR OFF that person.
Throw what ever questions out here that you need answered.
I am sure we can help somehow.
