Therapist dealing with Compulsive Lying in Boston?

My husband has been struggling with compulsive lying his whole life. In the last 3 years, we have struggled twice with 2 BIG revelations about his lying and, although he's been seeing a therapist, she hasn't been helping and he still keeps secrets from even her. He thinks he needs to go to someone who has a specialization and/or experience with compulsive lying and/or be a part of a group. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am trying to be supprotive and help, so anything you can offer would be appreciated.

If He isn't working with his therapies, then there isn't much anyone can do. They need to want to change. You might want to try a different Therapies? Other then that, there really isn't much more then he or you can do...

If a CL can't be honest with his therapist, then I question how convinced the CL is that he/she needs to be in therapy?

I do know of a therapist who suggests trying any open 12-step program. 12-step programs are for those who are willing to work the program... and even though I have never heard of one for just compulsive liars, all of the principles can be applied just the same.
